[META] Alphabetical Order I noticed today while going over the wav files that each one is for a letter in the alphabet. Meaning that the beginning letter of each file corresponds to a letter in the alphabet....except the letter Q. So far there has not been a single wav file that starts with the letter Q.

or x, or z... interesting, but doubt it's a strong lead to anything.

standing corrected... that leaves x and q... not really two of the most popular letters... I still sit on the opinion that this is a dead end... but *shrug*

I agree with your SPEC (it doesn't mean anything.)

well, if it were alphabetical, then I'd be much more curious about a puzzle... but by alphabetical, I'd expect each new audio clip to be named in order of the alphabet... that would pique my interest... but considering how many clips there are, it's perfectly possible that all but a couple of letters may have been used in random order...

re: x and q In the 'old days' X and Q were the only letters not translated by phone code. (ie, dut = 388). Each phone digit 2-9 had 3 letters, for 24 total. Lately, they've standardized on placing Q on 7 and X on 9.
Does that give you anything further to go on on this? Is it worth trying to correlate this to any phone numbers by the order on the recipe pages? Then again, not a lot of words have Q and X in them to begin with, which is why it was chosen to leave them out on the intial phone mapping.

well here's something to look into if you really want to... taking the first letters of all the clip names on links.html, listing the numbers on the phone, then the letters associated to that number (maybe a phrase using one of each of the 3 letters per row), here's a list:
Code:
b 2 abc
j 5 jkl
h 4 ghi
y 9 wxyz
d 3 def
y 9 wxyz
o 6 mno
p 7 pqrs
p 7 pqrs
y 9 wxyz
d 3 def
g 4 ghi
n 6 mno
t 8 tuv
e 3 ghi
w 9 wxyz
s 7 pqrs
r 7 pqrs
m 6 mno
s 7 pqrs
f 3 def
m 6 mno
h 4 ghi
b 2 abc
e 3 def
m 6 mno
p 7 pqrs
l 5 jkl
h 4 ghi
e 3 def
