Does anyone else find it strange that Dana didn't update her Blog until after the SP was freed? Could Dana really be the SP?

Dana the SP? wtf? I think your thinking too hard...

Whatever is going on, Melissa definitely wants to do harm to Dana in more ways than one. I don't know about you but if an AI had me on their hit list I wouldn't be all easy going about a beekeeper who had just ratted out my location. None of it makes sense so it has to be part of the game.

I'm new to ARGs and someone told me to press buttons PMs put in front of me. I -really- don't feel like pressing the wrong one.

I sent Dana an email, telling her that her cover was blown, and that Melissa knows what country she was in. I recommended trying to get as much cash as possible, buy a plane ticket to another country, and NOT tell us where she went. I figure that's the best way to guarantee her safety. As for the cash, that may be the hard part. Hopefully she has multiple credit lines, and Melissa isn't hip to all of them yet.

If it turns out Dana is foreshadowing the SP (midnight, pumpkin), I think that lends a bit of weight to the Dana-is-the-SP theory. The pictures could be explained any number of ways (found on the ILB server, memories from before the brain-imaging, etc).

I was thinking along those lines too inio. As far as where the Killer.jpgs came from. If the SP is an advanced AI it would be easy for her to mock up some images. I'm starting to lean towards the idea that the SP is the covanent AI.

[WILD SPEC]If the SP is an advanced AI, it's possible that the she could have set up the ilovebees website, and created an alter ego Dana. She could have done this in hopes of rebuilding Melissa and gaining information that she had but lost in the accident. She'd need help in doing this and what better way to gain trust and help then to impersonate a damsle in distress and a scared child. We all seem to think that we taught the SP how to speak by sending her emails, but if she didn't know how to speak before that then who wrote the Widow's Story? Maybe she was using our emails to rebuild Melissa's memories. Maybe the Durga wavs are actually Mellisa's memories, they're what happened in the past and contain the secret that the SP is trying to recover. Maybe I've gone crazy. Maybe I'm looking to deep. It wouldn't be the first time.[/WILD SPEC]

I'm also with you in thinking that perhaps the SP isn't quite what we think she is and possibly shouldn't be trusted so much....

I also agree fully with your spec that perhaps Dana is an alter ego created by the SP... and seeing how none of us have been able to contact Margaret, where is the proof that Dana is even a real person and Margaret actually her aunt....

There have been many occurences which have linked Dana to the SP as our game has been progressing... For Example:

1) In Dana's new blog entry she puts "The new happy ending to her Perdita story made me � well, happy. Really happy. Dazzlingly happy."

And on the updated onceuponatime page, the SP, puts down "When I am dazzlingly glad to be alive, I do this "

2)Dana wrote after the SP had been released: "Even though I'm still on the other side of the world, I kind of feel like a little part of me came home today, too"

3)Dana seems to have a fondness for fairy tales, much like the SP, as seen in her blog entries:
"bank account to a pumpkin"
"all the king horses and all the kings men"

4) Dana also having an encounter with red balloons...

5) Right after the SP spies on Melissa and reveals some new roads, Dana posts on her blog talking about her "eavesdroping game".... "Mom always said we were eavesdropping on the future.."

6) In Dana's blog entry The Extraordinary, she put how she believed somehow her life would be extraordinary , and that: "My inner life would be spectacular"....

7) Also, it almost seems like Dana and the SP have the same relationship with us the players. We are trying to help both of them and both of them communicate with us in a fun, friendly manner...
