DVD listen- i love bees
perfect for a snowy day

Today I did my annual relisten-to-lb-dvd-while-snowed-in event. I think everyone should pick a time to relisten to these dvds. Even after 6 (!) years, that DVD brings back strong feelings, plus it feels warm and fuzzy, which is odd because it ends with the Covenant invading.

I loved playing i love bees. Once again, I want to thank the PMs, the players, Space and the site admins and the moderators for making that game such an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Pull out your dvd and give it a listen, you will be glad you did.

I recently re-listened to the entire drama while on a road trip with a friend to Syracuse. Managed to get through the whole thing.
This is always worth a full play through once or twice a year. Never gets old! Very Happy

Re: DVD listen- i love bees

I typically drive back and forth between Southern California and Northern California two or three times a year. The five ILB discs live in my car.

I'm always noticing new things, too. For example, a few listens ago the following connection finally clicked: Standish murdered Herzog by forcing his car to run off a bridge: "At the bottom of this hill, watch out for the bridge!" Several weeks earlier, when we first met Rani and she was talking about how she figured Professor Avi used to be a spy, she cited the fact that he knew how long every model of car would float "if you ran it off a bridge." Mr. Green

(Yeah, yeah, I know you all figured that out years ago...)

as a followup, I was just watching Veronica Mars last night, episode Lord of the Bling, and remembered that Sam Bloom is played by Bruce Nozick, the voice of James James (so surreal hearing that voice!). Smile

I love that Veronica Mars season one reminds me so much of Jan/James' father/daughter relationship (Kristen Bell & Enrico Colantoni), and the voice actor of J^2 actually cameos in an episode. Love it Very Happy
Now if only some of the other ILB stars had cameo roles too, like Kari showing up in an episode =)... heh

I want to see Kristen Rutherford on TV! And, the silver screen.

Shad0-
(Yeah, yeah, I know you all figured that out years ago...)....true, but some of us are good at those kinds of "puzzles" and others of us solve the "real puzzles."

We should do a group re-listen and talk about it in chat together. I would love that...like a weekly group listen of an hour or so..anyone up for it?

Kristen appeared in 90210 as Margaret :)
And I remember her raving about being a reporter on screen, but facing away from the camera :)
