About the Skull image:
I don't know if this is helpfull but if I remember my Physical anthropology The one on the left (in the box) appears to be a male skull while the one on the right looks to be female.

Two of the pictures seem to be related in a rhyming way:
"no wagon"
and
"Cro Magnon"
that's a hearse, not a wagon; i'd wager it's "no body"

I use the free version of BBedit (just google and download from the site), but you can also use the TextEdit program that comes with OSX. Just drag the image from the web page to the desktop to download, then drag the icon you get to the text editor. This doesn't allow viewing embed .wavs or pictures, but you can find the text.

Muses.gif text really is: # .# X .X
They spaced it out from the rest of the image text so it is very blatant.

(muses.jpg) yeah that's what I thought, and they grouped it with groupofjars.jpg for the puzzle... how is it a clue then?

I believe that the hint:
This is what I do when I imagine I am a femme fatale! ;-*
And this is what I do when I need help making my story better: :-/
goes with the noir story in the picture embedded in Chloe.jpg.
I would imagine that it's like mad-libs, that somehow we have to replace the words that are in a different font to make her story "better". Maybe the first letters of the "right" words will yield a .wav filename?

Just to edit that list:
the different font is actually for "self arrested"
I think "$1000" is in the different font too
and so is "P.I. license"
So does anything else think this is like a Mad-Lib?
and it must relate to

WOOOHOOO!
I got the cootie catcher one... you gotta "follow the breadcrumbs backwards from the future", or, follow the cap letters backwards from the good answer.
