[SPEC] Regarding loyal (To Melissa) crew members The way I see this is going, I think it's time for our own 'secrets'
I purpose that crew members loyal to the SP speak in private about their efforts, not to let these traitors know critical info about the SP and the like.
I've already seen some efforts comprimised by the resourceful Lt. Weephun about warning melissa of transmissions... an iron curtain should be erected

My above-mentioned efforts were given IN FULL DISCLOSURE to this entire group! Let alone the fact that I was the one who proposed the idea of sending the Subject 5 stuph to Melissa by way of the email, then helped multiple people find this information and gave them plenty of time to send it before I sent my email (which still hasn't even gone out by the way). Let alone alerting those people to the idea of the voice-mail, alerting everyone looking in the puzzle area to what was going on, waiting for comments before I sent the email, and explaining that I'm not acting out of loyalty to Melissa, but because I think that anything the Pious Flea wants done is BAD.
The whole reason I'm infamous here is because of the "secret" that I decided to keep. Now I'm the one sharing everything here and YOU want the "iron curtain" huh? Can you say HYPOCRITE !
Some of you people make me sick.

hey hey! calm down.
it's just a way to make things more interesting... the whereabouts of the SP was public knowledge, and I reward your efforts in advancing the plot and keeping information secret... but i think it should work both ways..
If some discovers some new info that, if melissa found out, could hurt the SP, it should be kept from loyal crew members, that's all i'm saying.
It's all out of fun and a game, calm down!

I think when it comes down to it, we're all on the same side. Even if we have different ways of going about it, we all want to figure out why Melissa is here in 2004, and what we're supposed to do about it. We all want to save the world. That makes us a team, as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, AKA me = trying to be a part of this "team" now in any way that I can.

I believe everyone should share information unless they are explicitly told not to do so. And in those few cases, I trust everyone to make good decisions, but no matter what this is a game. So lets not ostracize anyone for choices they make, especially choices that make the game more exciting.

Right. weephun's got the turn-Dana-over-to-the-angry-AI angle covered. Go team!

PMs don't divide players; players divide players.

can i get a mod to back me up on this? (maybe stick this in the "before you post" thing?)
now, i know that some people are still upset about weephun and his "betrayal" of the princess, but can we get something straight here?
now, i can't tell people how to think, feel, or say, but can we please get off of this whole betrayal theme? no one is betraying anyone or keeping anything from anyone unless they are asked to do so in game , and even then, they normally will say something about it to the people here, or on irc, or in a pm to some people, or whatever other ways have been utilized by the "crew"...
now people, stop blaming weephun, or adam, or whoever else might not be doing what you think you would do... we're all working together on this stuff, so stop diving everyone into camps...
we're all beekeepers, can we please start acting like it (instead of like children...)

darkmoonz, I agree with you, but one of the best ways to let it die ... is to let it die.
Sort of a zen way to go about it, but it generally tends to work. There's some kidding around still going on, because it was a pretty major revelation/plot point for this game, but if people stop treating it as a worry stone, it will cease to be an issue.

Hear-hear! My opinion, exactly. Thanks for boiling it down to a single sentence... my post would've been a dozen times longer.
-- Steve thinks that we're still a team, and will be so long as we don't divide ourselves into camps or factions.
