[OT] Hey All! *Unofficial Newb Thread*

Didn't see one, and I didn't find one in the search, so I made my own.

You can all call me Jettison42, or just Jett. Long time player, first time poster.

I've been following ilovebees since I saw the Halo2 trailer and noticed something /off/ at the end. I have a funny story about my one attempt to activate an axon, but I'll save that for later.

Eh, might as well throw in my first post here before the thread gets locked up Wink. I also go by AgentMunroe, might've seen me in the IRC room a few times - I only really got into ILB towards the middle of September but I've been completely hooked ever since - the stories are fascinating, the axons are enhottenating and the interaction with the characters never ceases to amaze me (hmrpita's amazing rescue of the SP is a simply stunning thing to listen to, nice work!) I have one other friend who sort of pushed me into looking into it who's following things but not quite as closely as I.

At any rate - I'd love to be crew or even grab a few axons, but the local telco has a policy of no payphones with incoming numbers, so unfortunately it looks like I won't be interacting too much. Kind of dissapointing, but ah well, I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride. Very Happy

Keep up the great work guys!

I've been lurking here for quite awhile, too--I clicked on the Penny-Arcade link back in July, and have been hooked ever since--but have been unable to enhottenate anything (being Canadian, eh?) beyond a bag of micowave popcorn before sitting down to vicariously participate in the adventures of the Axon Hunters.

Does Melissa know where Canada is, I wonder? 'Cause Toronto isn't that much farther than New York, as the Axon flies, and it's a heck of a lot closer than London, last time I checked. And, y'know, me being in retail, I get plenty of weekdays off, which leaves me free to, say, answer a ringing payphone or two...

Yeah, I've been lurking since the ILB reference in the Hal 2 movie trailer, and figured I'd pop in to this thread and say hi. (Since I am, obviously, a noob.)

Ya I'm pretty much a noob also. I've been following ILB since before August 24, but havent done much. I've enhottenated one axon (I have school all day, so I had to skip a class to get to the one i got). Other than that I havent really done anything. Oh, I did help post the answer to the favorite song question, johnny_Nitro called me and told me the question and answer so I could post it, but thats all Ive done. I feel left out Sad

I cling to this hope. (See my "location" entry for why. Razz) However, I don't think that it'll happen; Canadian payphones don't accept incoming calls, if I recall correctly. *sigh*.

-- Steve, however, was knocked flat that the Flea emailed him the SP's distress call... gotta figure out why, and what to do with/about that.
