from what ov says, all the information we need is there... i'm thinking that it has something to do with the music in the venus fly trap part, but i don't know how to extract music from a flash file...

if someone could extract it and send it to me, i have a program that lets me slow down audio files and i could analyze it...

or, of course, i could just be chasing a red herring...

I asked because, by the info that's quite easy to find now, you end up at door "z" as it seems. That's where I am stuck for now. Has anyone advanced?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

As I am either a bit too tired, or it isn't mentioned here....
Door: 'w' - ::The Post::
user: w
pass: ibegtodiffer

finally leads to door 'z'

Discoveries of Interest

I'm not sure if this is a red herring or not, but see if you can do anything with it.

If you decompile the venus.swf flash or view it in Notepad, an interesting phrase comes up:

For thenxlgi,paswd31548.TumfIbykv

See if you can make any sense out of it. Note the word 'paswd', I'm thinking this is definitely somehow important. I can't find anything else in the flash, except for 'Garamond', which OV assures me is the name of the font used in the flash.

*EDIT* some quotes from OV that may help now/later on

OhVerisimilitude: Perhaps I should correct myself about the Christmas e.mail... There is a clue within it, but it is not for this time. It is for later.

OhVerisimilitude: Yes, the material you need to walk through further doors is on the site [as of right now].

New2This - just google "Flash Decompiler". And I sadly couldn't find a way to get the audio without the flash file. The program I found off Google is just called 'Flash Decompiler', no company name, so I can't really link to a URL for it simply because I can't remember and am too lazy to re-search for it.

New2This...quite simple:

Kind of trial and error...thought there had to be something to this phrase and that it belonged to a door with a hint Wink

I think it's as weird, as you make it Wink
See it as a game, and you'll have some fun puzzling at it.
See it as an interesting approach to philosophical or religious questions, I think it's a better way, than reading the texts, buying books with premade interpretations without having to think that deeply for yourself (know what I talk of, studied Theology for a while Wink ).

It's all a matter of how your way of seeing this will be.

Yeah, this isn't a "real" ARG. I've found myself elsewhere on unfiction because of this, but I still think this is all interesting. As long as the puzzles keep coming I think this forum will stay, but who knows.

SB made me official mod of this forum, so if you have any concerns or questions give me a PM. (How I got this honor? I don't know.. x_X)

The site was updated yesterday, but nothing was visible. It was all black, nothing else. The code to the page is encrypted the same way the previous ones were, but I still cannot get them decrypted.
