Well, I can only assume that's encryption in the source code, and not jargon. Can anyone more knowledged in Javascript tells me what everything is before the puzzle-text-gibberish-thing?

Decodathings of interest!

Well, I've been working on decoding the hexadecimal part of the source, despite OhVerisimilitude's claiming that such is useless. He says that the hexadecimal itself is encoded once more, and that the page was simply a test of some software. I especially loved his encryption key (Or is it? I don't know - it's a variable he included in the software) - "YeayBabyCoolSoftware". I had to decode it by hand and am too lazy to continue, so I'll put what I have up here and give the last bits for anyone else to pick up on decoding if they so wish.

for(t="",ob55VIQ=0,k="YeayBabyCoolSoftware";ob55VIQ<p8Rfhjqh.length;ob55VIQ++)te

And I'm ending on %29%74%65, if anyone wants to pick up from there.

Verisimilitude has specifically said that I would do well not to bother decoding it, however.

for(t="",ob55VIQ=0,k="YeayBabyCoolSoftware";ob55VIQ<p8Rfhjqh.length:ob55VIQ++)
t+=String.fromCharCode(p8Rfhjqh.charCodeAt(ob55VIQ)^(k.charCodeAt(ob55VIQ%k.length)&31));
document.write(t);

this is all one big line, but I didn't want to break the format of the forum.

I didn't decode this by hand either. If you take the hex and put it as the href in a link, when you hover over the link the status bar will show the unencrypted code. I did have to type it all out, but i'm very confident in my copying of it. Feel free to double check.

edit: found a typo.

Update:
This game is not dead.
This is known for a fact.
I urge unfiction to relocate this back to current.
Thank you
Addy

I mean it's not over.
I can't really disclose details at the request of OV.
Just trust me in what I say.

well there's nothing new really going on that anyone can see, so until you can prove it's really still happening, i don't think the mods here are gonna take it out of the archives... if you've got it good like that with ov, maybe u should have him make it more obvious??

can you at least give a hint or a rabbit trail to follow?

Maybe the PMs should have made this clear with an IN-GAME event. That would have made more sense.

My thoughts exactly! how are people gonna know you're back in action unless you tell them?

Addy, you wouldn't have anything to do with the site would you? Your signature and geographic location, as well as supposed insider knowledge has me a bit curious... Just wondering... Cool

ok, I see now that phase 4 has begun... I wonder which mod to report this to, as to find this info out you have to have access to a certain part of the site that not everyone might know about...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you go to http://www.thematrixisreal.com/w and get past the login prompt (If you want me to tell you, I can, but it's more interesting to find out for yourself) there is a message from Sachchit indicating that phase 4 has indeed begun... (The next spoiler has the username and password)

So, if any mods are reading this, please reactivate this topic! Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the user name is 'w' and the password is 'ibegtodiffer' (without the upostrophes), as deciphered from the page with the morse code...

by the way, has anyone seen OV on in a while? I think he was on for a minute about a week ago, but aside from that I haven't seen him for a couple months...
