These stories would definitely make a great game or movie. They have great (sounding) action scenes, romance, and quite a lot of comedy. hey_toots is hilarious, but I still find the Kamal arc to be the funniest. Pure audial gold.

effective too, now that "bigger_dog" has gone hot, the comedy of Jersey or Kamal makes it harder to listen to the action movie turned psychological thriller of Jan

Good point speaker. It would also correlate with the military referencs the SP uses. How would she know about the training to not look at the dead bodies in combat? answer military training. she still a child because of the early stages of training. but I would guess she was a spartan 3 not a spartan 2. it fits the timeline better.

Yep... this could certainly be a possibility. I never really thought about where the donor brains come from, but if they're military personnel already, then I guess that'd make sense. At least you know they'd be loyal, tough, have a sense of duty, know military protocol, etc.

As far as I am concerned, the VA is first rate! It absolutely gave me chills. I have always liked radio drama anyway, but this has really given it a modernized and believable facelift. WOW! No TV can paint a picture this vivid!

You know, it's comforting to know I'm not the only one that these story-arc wavs are getting to.

Jeezuhs!

Well, she could still work as the template. She was taken at 6 for the SPARTAN II project, but the final augmentations didn't take place until she was 14, so Kamal would have been 18. So let's say she survived the augmentations, but was unable to be in active service. It was said that everyone will serve, the Navy takes care of her people.

So say she was floating in a bouyancy tank or such, she could have been used and possibly welcomed the chance to be used as an AI template. And since Kamal only completed medical school, the AI timespan would still work out ok.

The timeline doesn't fit correctly for Yasmine to be a Spartan II, If she was, she would have been taken in 2517 at the age of 6 - the time currently in game is some time around Oct 2552 (Shortly after Reach Fell). This would make Kamal much much to old.

If anything, Yasmine would be part of the Spartan III program which we know absolutely nothing about.
