[Meta] [Spec] Ticking off Melissa

This probably doesn't make much sense, but I wanted this to sound more mysterious (That, and I'm at the end of my 6 hour workday).

As far as I can tell, there is only one way to tell if Melissa is reading Dana's email.

So, I've decided to test if Melissa is reading. I wonder if I can get Melissa to turn her sights on someone else?

Quote:
Dana, I am Nuriko and I am for you and the Sleeping Princess. I wish for nothing more than your physical safety and mental health during these tough times. I can imagine how it feels to have people from around the world telling you mixed messages.

Personally, I would be strong and not be afraid. Our Princess is free and will work hard to protect you any way she can, she feels like you two are linked some way by fate. Odd isn't it?

I also don't think Melissa could hack her way out of a power supply. She is obviously too weak to remember her goals. I even am willing to bet she forgot the flea is with her on the ship. Do you know what happens to animals that do not realize they have fleas sucking the life out of them? They die.

Melissa couldn't even keep her precious Princess locked away for more than a few days. Why is that? Because we are humans, and we are born with Melissa's original mantra: "Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape." We kept to our human instincts and protected what is important. She is just a broken machine.

You are equally valuable. Without you, the beekeepers would be lost. Without your strength many of us would lose the will to go answer payphones weekly to get an edge over Melissa. Be strong, the Queen is losing followers daily.

Clever, but not sure it's going to work. I tried diverting Melissa's attentions away from Dana with a simple plea in what ended up being a weird voice mail to place on her phone (it's so hard trying to talk to two different people in the same voice message. I had to talk very carefully to not say things like "Dana, stop trying to kill innocent people!"). Mine, of course, was more in vain - I just want to talk to Dana, I'm not so interested in trying to negotiate with a psychotic AI.

Your e-mail might work in inciting Melissa to do... well... something, except for the fact that Melissa at this point just seems bent to an extreme on her "truth". She doesn't seem fully aware of things even when they're told to her - just her mission objectives. Note how she completely drops the Flea topic when Weephun mentions the Princess in that WAV file. She's got her priorities, and they'll be hard to change.

Just spec, of course. Best of luck to you.

I like the writing style. If I was Melissa, I'd surely make me angry.

I doubt it will work either.

However, I will be very pleased if I get an email back either way.
Dana: Thanks for the support
Melissa: DIE HIPPIE!

SJ: Thanks for the compliment Smile
