[SPEC] What is happening/will happen to Melissa?

Last week, she said "The're listening" and "They're coming"
This week, she tells her crew that she may not be around much longer and to continue the mission.

So what does everyone thing is going on?

Is Standish using the artifact/device to track her to our time and wipe her for good since he failed to get her while on the Apocalypso?
If so, did Jason/Castaway use the device/artifact to transfer her to our time to begin with in order to protect her?

Like the disappintment guy said?: "Who, who!?"

("ayatolla Komeini Komeini para tolo" or something like that)

I'm thinkin' Durga's gonna regain control of both hands, and so we might still hear the sounds of Melissa, but Durga's going to be in control ...

Or something like that.

It's amazing that we have so much information laid out before us, and that we still don't really know what's going on!

It's kinda like we have all these doorways to step through, but we can't do it until we attach the doors - and we're missing several hinges.

Anyone got any other metaphors? Wink

Or, she's going to try to move forward in time and get a better handle on Durga.

That will make for an unhappy Jersey.

Couldn't have put it better myself. This thing really is addictive, isnt it? (4am for the fifth night running, thinking, reading, listening, and watching.)

If Halo2 has half the depth of this game, I'll buy ten copies.
