I don't know if I can get -76.360210,40.804080, it's at a library in Dix HIlls, Right across from Half East Hollow Hills High School(I'm in the high school right now). I have a job appointment at 530, and I'm wary of taking the phone call at 512 then having to get down the 110. But I'll see what I can do.

I hit it. I had to go to the Palisades Mall in Rockland after work, so this was the only Axon I had a chance to hit (plus my own crew axon). This axon is now confirmed - the payphone is in the basement of the library. The one on the right if I remember correctly.

Anyone else hit Axons on Long Island this week?

I dunno. Check the New York City thread, or get maps from the blackforge site (http://www.theblackforge.net/axons/).

Yeah, saw you getting it. (I was the kid in a khaki sweater.)
But your right, it was the phone on the right.

I meant LI Axons that were close to the border. The only NYC Axons I know of are in Manhattan. The Bronx gets no love.

I knew that was a fellow beekeeper I saw by the stairs. You should have introduced yourself! In any case, see if you can get this one next week - I won't be able to leave early from work next week. I'll post times tomorrow, but I'm expecting the same 9 axons at nearly the same times.

The closest you'll find is the Macy's in Manhasset. If you're willing to take a bridge and the cross island to the LIE, it's near exit 33, but the time last week was around 5:47 PM - a bad time to try to get there from the Bronx.

Same 9 Axons, but where the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks is Siege's crew Axon???

[edit - Oh, there it is. How did I miss that?]

No time to do an axon report now, but I will hopefully be enhottenating West Babylon around 7pm. That might be all I can do.

Yeah, I would've introduced myself, but I was running late for an interview, and was really just there to check it was covered. I saw you there, heard you answer, and heard the code word, so I figured it was good and I could dash away.

But picking up next weeks depends though, I have work at 5:30(I got the job). If it's before then, and after 2(school), I'll be able to get it.

6:26 PM 15:26 PDT Strifey,Cns.
7:04 PM 16:04 PDT 40.71858 -73.35424 North Babylon NY

Strifey, I assume, will cover the 11:36 Rt. 110 Axon as always.

Hemogloben, welcome to Team Long Island. The library axon is at 3:29, which should be right between school and your new job (congratulations!).

I will cover the North Babylon Axon as usual, barring unforseen circumstances.

The order is the same as last week, so see above for Axon locations. The Manhasset axon (I believe) is in a Macy's on Community Drive E, which is right off Community Drive, which is right off LIE exit 33.

Thanks.

I'll duck out of Play rehersal for 5-10 minutes and pick it up. This is gonna be my first axon, so I'm a little wavy. What sorta stuff should I expect? Any Password I need? I'm gonna spend tonight brushing up on ILB storyline so far just in case, but it'd be nice to know what sort of stuff she might ask.

Thanks guys.

You will be asked the following question - "What insect do I hate the most?"
The answer is "bees" - exactly like that. Not the bee, or bee, but bees, plural. After you answer, just wait quietly. After 10 seconds or so, Melissa will respond. If you get a live call, well, who knows. Check the blog (bees.netninja.com/blog) before you leave if you can.

Oh, and those unforeseen circumstances I mention happened, I have an appt. at 7:30 PM, so I won't be able to hit the Babylon axon after all.

Yeah, I missed the axon on tuesday. A rather unwilling fellow was on the phone. Argh.

Anyway, about this Nov, 4th thing. What are the killer's usual channels?
Aunt Marg. email?

I'm confused. But, Living in LI I'm really trying to go.

Sorry I couldn't grab the axon, I'll pick it up this week.

Nevertheless, I'd love to meet some of you for the first time. I could meet Siege at Macy's (we could try to find the axon, anyway), and then Hemogloben at Half Hollow Hills, and finally Strifey at Burger King. I dunno. What do you guys think? It's a Sunday, maybe we could all meet at one of the confirmed axons (probably Burger King).
