OK, so Herzog's aide is being transferred to New Mombasa?
Wasn't that the first scene from the Halo 2 E3 Demo?

Yes, I searched. No, I didn't see any threads covering this.

You're right--New Mombassa is definitely the city in the Halo 2 demo. Maybe that's the first city that's attacked? It would start tying this in with the H2 plot, anyway.

 		If that were the case, it'd be quite ironic that Herzog sent his protege away to protect him ( presumably from Standish ) and in so doing sent him into an even more dangerous situation. Out of the frying pan...

I think the idea is that is that he'll be carrying the frying pan with him when he goes. Thus the fire will follow.

 		Maybe New Mombasa is being attacked because it's a massive city ripe with infidel humans for the expension of plasma upon.

Or yeah, could be the artifact too. Wink
