I'm not criticizing your efforts -- if you saw something out of the ordinary, it's a good idea to investigate it thoroughly. I'm just trying to help you see where your investigation went astray.

If you hadn't asked, and there *was* something there, we would be a lot worse off for not knowing. As it is, now you're aware of the issue with the JPG bug, and the next time you'll be better off to find another clue.

I'm thinking that the last unnamed picture is either royal family of Japan, China or Korean leaders.
It's not the Dhali Lama.
It's not Hirohito (and Japanese royalty use only one name so that might eliminate an entire area).

Okay, it seems like there's more than just cheese there. If they wanted 'swiss cheese' I'm sure they could have gotten a much more focused picture. Perhaps this is a cheese gift set? Maybe the name we need is the company the set is from, like 'Hillshire Farm'.

Many of the people have more to their name than they go by, such as the following:

Roy Rogers real name was Leonard Franklin Slye

Ray Liotta was adopted at 6 months of age, he was born with a different name.

It seems that the pictures that have the red above/below them don't go by the name given to them at birth.

O.J. goes by his initials, and he is in Blue.

Green's seem to be nicknames.

Also, some stuff about a Roman pillar (maybe useful, maybe not):

The most famous pillar of victory in Rome is Trajan's Column.

It was constructed by Roman Emperor Trajan, whose full birth name was Marcus Ulpius Traianus.

The scenes carved on the pillar cover the entire range of Roman military activity, from fighting to collecting food, from marching to building.They also show many details of the land the Romans passed through - and of the enemies they fought. Maybe this has something to do with U.S. Politics.

Red for Republican (which G. Gordon Liddy is a part of).

Blue for Democrats (is O.J. Simpson a Democrat?).

Green for the Green Party (maybe the old guy has something to do with them?).

Also, why are all the red pictures of people? Why, with the exception of the old guy, are the green pictures of objects? There's something to this, I just know it.

I'm sure we really need to work on this wayy more than we have. I suspect its a very important clue. That being said, I'm not the best at this type of puzzle, but I have been thinking a lot about it, and maybe my thoughts will give someone else the ideas needed to solve it. So, what do we have so far?

The solution, as best as I can tell will reveal:

THE NAME OF A MAN (is)

My first thought was AMANda? from before? maybe not.

Then, the list....

to ME, the most notable thoughts were that 1's (red) were people, and 2's(green) were objects. The exceptions being the oriental man, and the gundam, both of which are the reverse of this observation.

Now, that being said, I strongly felt that the oriental man was familiar, right from the start. For some reason, I cant shake the feeling that his picture is from some product. Like an old medicine. It reminds me of smith brothers cough drops, odd as that is. So maybe even though the pic is of a person, the clue is of a product (object) that hes pictured on. For example, Old Guy Diapers!

And as for the gundam, maybe the clue is his exact "person's" name.

As for how to solve, Im just guessing at this point. Maybe the 1's, and 2's refer to the number placement of the letter of the name or object that you find, and then unscramble. I'm thinking this, since we already knew (obviously) that we had two groups.

Now,... heres my wacky sub theory....

Even though I dont know the name of all the objects, I noticed that they all seem to be two words, almond joy, swiss cheese, silver ghost, charelston chew.
And... of course, the names will be like this also. Roy rodgers, Rue Mclannen, reese witherspoon. Jay 'z' (or his real name), ect.

So maybe the 1s and 2s are for you to use the 1st, or 2nd word, or that.. with the 1st, or 2nd letter within that word. Then unscrambled.

As far as oj, and the quotes, I think when you figure for sure what the 1's represent, the quote will mean something like use the nickname OJ, or his whole name......

Then the last little detail, and I really doubt it matters, but I noticed anyways, is that some of the names have objects, and the objects have names.. almond JOY, CHARELSTON chew OJ (orange juice) ROLLS royce silver GHOST, RESSE (candy) witherspoon

All said, just more to bang my head on the wall over....
