Adding on the numbered names of the gifs in case they mean anything.

The dots and dashes look like Mayan numbers to me.

Maybe the V's are just directional (up or down) or the V's represent some sort of versicle.

Anyway, reading left to right;

5 up 9 up 1 up 6 down 14 up 1 up 1 up 10 down 14 up 9 up 1 up 6 down 14 up 1

SOLVED!!!!!! (my first solve)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Thanks to many in chat, we ID'd the symbols as mayan numbers. We decided the symbols in between numbers (/\ and V) were + and -, so plugged it in (5 +9 +1 +6 -14 +1 +1 +10 -14 +9 +1 +6 -14 +1) and got eight, which didn't help. Someone pointed out the number repetitions, and another person suggested simple substitution, so when you took the result of each step and did substitution, you got 5,13,14,20,6, 7, 8, 18, 5, 13, 14, 20, 6, 7, which translates to........
