What clues are left?
The "SOUNDS LIKE" and preposition list, and the chicken-with-calendar and 1/25 puzzle.
I still say sounds like goes with the prepositions for propositions but I don't have anything else to link that to...

From TuxKamen.
Explain?
He took the na_cat pixel changes and decoded them in Braille.
This removes the "all cats look black" clue, as well as the na_cat pixels.
Solved it a little too late Good job.

For the embedded margret.jpg I tthink that we should take these facts in consideration:
The calander Jan 25 that is a tuesday
The chicken- year of the chicken
The phase of the moon.
Find the intersection of all these and we can get the right year

maybe it ALSO goes with the chicken... Fowl/Foul day? or something? poultry-day?
none of those fairly ridiculous combinations work with propositions, though.

It also sounds like there are two more words that can come out the embedded wav file...
one voice says divorced then a word I can't understand yet.
the other voice says what sounds like zero then bureaucrat.
It could also be that I have listened to this wav file for too long.

The chinese new year (which is lunar based) could be a holiday. Some of their years are know as the year of the Rooster (or chicken).

i'm chinese and born in the year of the rooster, but my knowledge of chinese culture is limited. all i can think of is that jan 25 in the next year of the rooster is a tuesday, which has been mentioned, and i think it's during the lunar new year (spans a few days).
think the fact that the chicken's like, on the earth (and almost as big) has anything to do with it?
oh and for what it's worth, the zodiac works in 12-year cycles.
