the Heraclides' were searching for a three-eyed one as their guide because the Oracle told them to. They found Oxylus 2 on a one-eyed horse (2 man eyes + 1 horse eye = three eyes). Smile

actually i got the heart transplant wrong it was a rtansplant but not the first

It's native to California, and it's venom is a necrotic.

So while it's not the most poisonous spider.... It is notable for the scars its bite can leave behind.

Has anyone been able to extract what's in dana.jpg? There's a second "JFIF" tag in there, but removing everything before it doesn't leave a viewable image (for me).

I don't think it's the deadliest spider--that's a spider in Australia. (An aussie once told me everything in Australia stings or bites and is very poisonous, which seems to be true.) The brown recluse is poisonous, but a bite won't kill you. (As long as your not really young or really old, anyway.)

Beyond that, I have no clue why it's in a list with all that stuff.
