The axons don't seem to be lighting up as quickly as they did last week (driven by desperation as we were ). This photo coordination certainly has the beekeepers scranbling.

As far as picture taking is concerned, you would think pictures of individuals would be better than group shots. 5 individual photos is better than 1 group shot. Though "Rank and File" shots lend better to groups. Comments?

Hopefully the mods will start a thread to post pictures that were accepted by Melissa. Give us a better idea what to send and what not to. Nevermind.

Maybe a silly (read: troutable) question, but do you actually have to be anything special to send a pic? I mean, if I wandered outside and posed as a clown, would Melissa know I'd never been anywhere near the US (let alone an axon)? In fact, since some axons are inside, couldn't I just find a pic taken a couple of years ago of me in scuba gear standing in a hallway and send that too?

i work in a recording studio... I am thinking of bringing a pair of headphones and saying my skill is listening for enemy communications/code cracker. For those more in the know, does this sound like a working idea if I get the headphones, myself, and axon in picture?

TO CLARIFY:

We have a variety of options for interacting with the situation today. I am really just posting this list to check my own understanding, so if I am mistaken about something please let me know.

• People can still go out to the Axons and answer the phones as normal to enhottenate them.
  
• "Named" crew will receive calls at their designated times, which will also count toward axon enhottenation.
  
• To enhottenate the "special" axons, you must send a picture of yourself (or several people) at an axon performing one of the listed "special tasks" to Dana's e-mail address.
  
• If you want to BE a "named" crewmember, you can call Dana's voicemail and state your name, rank, telephone number, and some "proof" that you are loyal to Melissa.
  
• If you want to CREATE a new axon location for the next round, you must check to see if it accepts incoming calls, then take a picture of it (with the phone number clearly visible) and send the picture AND THE PHONE'S GPS COORDINATES to Dana's e-mail address.

Does that sound about right to everyone?
