AXON/PASSPHRASE COORDINATION

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED US, WHETHER BY VOLUNTEERING OR BY COORDINATING THEIR TEAM (OR JUST THEMSELVES) WITH US. EVEN THOUGH IT TURNED OUT TO BE RATHER SUPERFLUOUS, I THINK IT SHOWED HOW QUICKLY WE CAN PRODUCE AN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE. SPECIAL THANKS TO ALIENDIAL, WHO MANAGED TO BE EVERYWHERE AT ONCE. GOOD WORK EVERYONE!

WE DID IT! 250 Rank and File members achieved!

You all rock!

Below this I will post suggestions/helpful information that I have been given.

I've also taken the liberty of setting up a Moblog. Axon hunters with camera phones can send pictures to beekeepers.beesSPLATtamw.com
To do so, most phones have a "send to" option available after the picture has been taken. Send to this address. Submissions will be found here:

http://beekeepers.textamerica.com/

They can be grabbed and manipulated from that site.

Whenever someone posts a pictue to the moblog, please email me at mjc8804SPLATbjc.org so I can copy it over to another server, and also, if anyone CHANGES a picture, please CC me so I can note the changes, and post the picture.

This will all take place at www.theilovebees.info

I have finished mapping out the closest kinkos to each axon in Wa. state
for our Axon Enhottenators, the Rainier Company.

I also called kinkos and this is the info for ALL kinkos locations:

Cellphones-
If you do not have the capabilties to email a pic you MUST have a USB
cable to hook up to their PCs. The use of these PCs is .20 per minute.

Digital Cameras-
There are two options here. The first is the same as for cellphones. You
MUST have a USB cable and pay .20 per minute. Important note here,
their PCs do not support the XD Memory Stick. If you do not have a USB
cable you can go for option two which also does not support the XD
Memory Stick. You connect your camera to their Sony Picture Station and
for 4.99 they will burn you a CD which you place into a PC that costs .20
per minute.

You can then email your pic to your local team or directly to the soon to
be Picture Email Address or whatever they are going to call it.

At it's worst, this would cost you 6-8 dollars including tax.

the way these axons have been coordinated is great.

For a first exercise, the code relay went well.

Just wanted to point out that we don't, in fact, know that the same code relay system will be used on Tuesday. There has been some spec that the digital images will have something to do with the password that has to be given. But we won't really know until Tuesday morning. It looks like xnbomb has the first call. I know he will post here immediately. So, happily, we will know right away what she is asking for this week.

OK, a good start - who is watching the comm channels to get information to Phaedra to post up above and to MadCow to add to his phone message info for axon hunters who call in from the road?!

I just recieved a call from one of our guys in the field (sorry man, my phone was breaking up so I couldn't get your name, wildfire was it? pm me and I'll correct this...)

He informed me that Melissa is requesting pictures of her crew infront of the axon. She will assemble all the pictures into a full roster of her crew in three days. So get on it guys, lets show her the crew.

*EDIT: Astrovanman and gilada just informed me that melissa wants us to be doing a task related to our job on the ship in the picture we take. So if you wanna be in the band show up with a trumpet, comm guys pull out your cell phones, you get the picture. Thanks for the update guys.

Phone Photo

Many posts say that the Phone Number must be visible in the picture. Others say just the phone. Does anyone have solid information on this? It seems really hard to make a picture that will show all the crew members AND that will be close enough to show the phone number. Please post if you have successfully submitted a photo without the number being visible.

I believe that the phone number only needs to be visible if you are submitting a pay phone as a new axon. It's for the people that don't have an axon near them, but would like to be able to join in on the fun.

The crew member pics only require the phone in the background.

Just sent of a slew of pictures, some with Axons, some without, and the ones with out an Axon got this back...

Skill must be displayed at an axon, soldier.

So, you must display your skill with an Axon in the Picture.

1st Class Navigator Deltina Wildfire here. My task from Melissa is to actually tell everyone else how this works... so here we go:

1. Get to an axon and answer it.
2. Get verified for your position and make sure you got your digital camera.
3. Take a picture of you in front of the axon (No, the number doesn't have to be visible) doing your "skill set". Melissa's example was, "Rank And File soldiers could be saluting the camera."
4. Send the picture, identifying each crew member present, to the Killer Comm. Channel. Images must be clean of any other text except for maybe text that identifies each person in the picture.
5. Those who do send these images will prove themselves to Melissa and prove their loyalty to her as her new crew.

IN 3 DAYS, A VISUAL ROSTER WILL BE COMPLIED WITH ALL OF OUR PICTURES.

PICTURES MUST BE SENT BY THE END OF THE BROADCAST DAY TODAY!

And that about covers it. And now I've completed my task for her. Yay!
