Not trout, per se, but in either the Puzzle thread related to this or the General/Updates thread related to this, I said that we should take in to consideration how right after BTWCORTANAISHOTNOW it says It's not what you think.

I don't know about you, but I think it means something related to Cortana will have some sort of Enhottenation involved come tomorrow.

Here's a pic of Superdunner and myself. Sorry about the poor quality, but we didn't have a digital (told Melissa that our imaging equipment was damaged in a crash on the way to the Axon, but that we had backup equipment on the way), so we had to grab a polaroid and scan it at a university lab for upload.

Image technician Red managed to back us up and take the pic for us (read: my GF came down and brought me my old lasertag rifle and snapped the pic for us Smile).

Ma'am;

PFC Gauger here.

I have been regrettably incommunicado due to a deep cover intelligence operation taking place in the Seattle area. PFC Rogers and I have located a potentially valuable axon. Surveillance photo attached, with intel listed on the image. PFC Rogers will send his findings tomorrow, once we have established a second safe connection on this server.

Contact with me is possible via e-mail (this connection is secure) or at the axon indicated in the photo.

Signing out;

I'd challenge anyone to fill in the blanks on that "alphabet" (and before you ask, it's not mine).

Thanks, Pericles. I was going to work on it, but things got busy and a large number of people beat me to it.

As for filling in the blanks, we've actually been talking to one of the designers over in the PUZZLES forum, and since we don't have samples of any of the missing letters yet, and since the design of each symbol is not graphically related to the sound it represents, we're just going to have to wait until they give us more examples that use the letters that they haven't shown us yet.

I've got to go with mad cow on this one also. Phaedra seemed real enough in our conversation on tuesday also, but she could be an incredibly advanced AI that some how was fragmented and sent to the past and is now forced to play strange ARGs in an effort to rebuild herself...

naaaa....

Triple word score and a cookie for use of the word "smacktards"...

I think it may have been a joke... Because Phaedra is good with languages and all of the AI seem to be good with languages...

Watch out for those Brain Ninjas Phae!

Ditto.

Ah, well, in that case I'm flattered. Embarassed Perhaps I should change my sig to "I'm a very curious girl."

Lol. Here I was thinking of applying for a position with them.

"So, what do you do for a living?"

"I'm a Brain Ninja. You?"

But maybe I should be hiding out instead...

EDIT: So, maybe Melissa believed him (just kidding) since she listed me only as "Phaedra" in the rank-and-file, and as "Lt. Col. Phaedre" in the Nav. & Comm., and didn't post *either* of the pictures I sent her anywhere.

Melissa, sweetie, what did I do wrong? Why have I been (possibly) demoted?

Of course phaedra's real, she lives like 5 min from me. I was at her house taking pictures of kali and her for melissa last tuesday.

You two are awesome, I can't say I wasn't a bit freaked out when you brandished that big knife and the saw though.. too many friday the 13th movies lately..

Did you get all those pictures? you didn't email me back, cause your hotmail box kept getting full when I'd send them.

Hey, a girl's gotta get her kicks somehow.

Hmm. Odd that you didn't get my return email...I only received the one with the picture of me, and I deleted it after saving the picture, so my inbox shouldn't be full....

Well, don't worry about it.

Melissa does have a picture of me up. Despite my sending her an improvement, she posted the bad one. <sigh>

And for the final pictorial report - see the 404 page. It's loverly! I imagine a lot of the pics are not there (esp. anything not sent Tuesday), but it looks like she listed as many names as she could, so it's all good.

We get to hear Pink Floyd on the guitar as background music for the new crew sign-in, the DC Axon Hunters cheer (twice!), the shortest cheer EVAR (Melissa's words, not mine) and oh so much more.

AND, IN PARTICULAR - Much deserved kudos from Melissa for the ASU crew and a name for you too - Myriad Wise Men!

Too many to mention. What fun that was!

Separately, the Sleeping Princess stole some pics and hung them around the site. Go to the ILB home page and start updating - watch the top bee pic (before it gets covered by the message box)...I imagine this is where many of our "missing" pictures may be found....

And now I see it's happening with other pics on the site - random substitutions when you update.

Curious, Either there are Two Thoth's, or I got counted twice on the crew roster. Once as 'Thoth' and once as 'Ensign Thoth' (which is awfully puzziling, since I didn't claim to be an Ensign).

Maybe gunnery technicians are usually Ensigns?

And I guess my marine training qualified me for Elite Forces Smile
