Just got a confrimation from Melissa, thought I'd share. I sent:

As requested, I have attached photographic evidence of our squad (The Berkeley Crew).

"Berkeley Crew.jpg" contains:
ONI Tech Alec, Engineer & Mechanic, left kneeling (w/ circuit boards and diagnostic equipment)
Lt. Ace Of Spades, Science & Medical, center kneeling (w/ medication and sterile swabs)
Lt. Adam, right, kneeling (w/ parade banner)
note: while Lt. Adam is not saluting, he is trusted, and is carrying our parade banner (attached as "Berkeley Crew Banner.jpg")
CPO 2nd class Stitch, Band & Entertainment, center standing (singing Stormy Weather)
Mjr. Panda, Band & Entertainment, right standing (juggling and distributing an entertainment feed)

If there is anything we can do for you, we are ready to serve.

Actually, I did. I guess that could be considered "Elite" Forces. You must have edited out the part where you were throwing nerf darts at Nuke and yelling "Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!" Wink

ROTFL!!

Yeah, that had to stay on the editing room floor.
We just received confimation.

Outstanding work pursuing the suspect.
As usual, your crew's performance is impressive.
Excellent evidence, soldier.

I got my reply about 90 minutes after I sent the email.

if anyone is going to do the scuba gear, please say for sure... if not, I have already arranged to take a picture of ASPmaster in his around 16:30. I will also take a tiny practice guitar amp and get another entertainer since she already has me as comm from earlier.

1 Paratroop, 1 Vac Suit Tech, 1 Scuba - 2/3

I'm going out on a limb and say that someone did Scuba. Vac Suit Tech is probably what is left to do. But it's better to be safe than sorry. If you were planning to do Scuba, I say 'Go for it!'

Man, I'm almost embarrassed about the relative lameness of what I did compared to some of you, but here's the pic I sent in of me, fwiw.

I said I was an audio/video analysis specialist, and this is really all I could think of for a pic demonstrating it. Since I gave Melissa my cellphone number this morning, I just held up my phone.

Well, it worked, at least. Got one of the nav/comm spots.

did the master chief guy try to pass it off as vac suit? If not, aspmaster and I will cover that instead.

[edit] pardon, madcow... did not know it was you until I had more time to review thread.

I sent the following email in hopes of getting confirmed. I'll send more later today once I go "enhottenating" axons in the afternoon.

I spoke with you on 9/21 via non-secure channels. I received my 9/28 secure communication. I have not received secure communications since.

Any communications received by me can be distributed to other crew members.

Attached photo is taken using my secure chatter device (it has a built in image capture function).

Request advisement: Why have I not been contacted on secure channels for additional orders?

Assertions:

I have confirmed that Dana is still located in Japan. I have confirmed that the Princess (rogue process) is receiving assistance from SPDR 5.14.77 (flea or seeker). SPDR has provided the rogue process with access to the "sec proc"

--- log ---
seeker > !attach master-sector
seeker > !attach sec proc Princess
Princess > !evade master-sector
-----------

The Princess is transmitting subject 5 data to Durga. Durga is now contacting subjects under surveillance.

Please advise receipt of this communication and orders. If additional confirmation of message authenticity is required, please advise.

Edit: DOH! pasted my cell number in there for a bit. Shocked

Hm, I think I'm going to take my tuba tomorrow and go take a picture next to the schools payphone.

You specify the time she calls you, right?

Arg! (heh)

See, here's why it's bad to rush into things: you fail to read the fine print. I misread the instructions and figured any yahoo at any phone would count for something. So I get my sister to drive me down to the college, take some photos, and drive back home. Only then do I find out that it needs to be crew at a real axon. I didn't even take down the phone number on the payphone, either. Even so, I would have looked damn cool in the band.
