By the way people, we only have till midnight PDT to get all 250 rank and files. So, I would suggest getting together 25 random people you see in front of some pay phone and making up names and ranks for all of them. We don't want to make Melissa dissapointed. We wouldn't like her when she's dissapointed.

i am tired Duh, I posted in the Pictures under Axon Coordination (aka, the wrong place) .
Sorry. Today is not my day, completely. I missed the first live call (because I took a second to go buy some water) and in the second live call I felt I let the rest of the crew down.

Talked with the Op live last night. Played some Pink Floyd for her. Full transcript's on the front page of my site . So does this mean that I can't answer the axons in my hometown any more? I'm the only person in my town doing this, but I don't wanna tick off Melissa and answer another live call if she doesn't want me to.

Wow, she made you run to get your guitar?? That's hysterical. Heh heh.
I think you should still go to the payphones - you never know if that axon will be the one to unlock a future sound file, or help fill a quota for some sort of exercise. If you're still alone, you can always tell her a story to explain it.
You can, apparently, also bribe people with money and candy to be new recruits. Heh.

That'd be great - a tall, poorly dressed white nerd come out of an alley (the pay phones are in a bit of a secluded area) and demands that you talk to an AI from the future. He claims that he'll pay you five bucks and a lollipop if you only follow him into the alley and answer the phone.
I'm actually going to try it - or hog-tie my friends and force them to talk to her. Whichever works.

That's awesome!
"Go get your guitar! Run!"
I believe I will make that my life motto.

er Is it possible to get ahold of Melissa anymore? I received a live call but gave her the wrong number, . I've emailed her 4-6 times at her gmail.com account. Seriously... I need to get ahold of her, ideas?

Last ditch effort - take a picture of yourself holding your cell phone, and include a polite, clearly-worded email detailing your chatter problems - tell her the number has changed, and maybe you can even salute in the pic? Show allegiance, etc.
Dunno. You've done the best you could for now.

I feel like I've done my best, but you'd think that her "loyal crewmembers" could contact her. I'd be a very depressed superdunner if on Tuesday Melissa calls the wrong number...

Follow-up to my live call experience, as I'm not sure where to post this: Right after sending the Op the email she requested with the jpg of me practicing my talents in front of a pay phone, I sent her another pic of me with my cell phone and guitar, the number readily visible on a piece of paper on my lap, along with this email:
---
Lt. Col. JR reporting, ATTN: Melissa, RE: secure lines
Operator - I have been prompted by your recent orders in the
hives.html page of the ilovebees web site to take a photograph of
myself showing my loyalty to the crew (by practicing more Pink Floyd
to keep up their spirits, this time a song called "Breathe") with
information concerning a more secure line. During our conversation
earlier today, you said that you would not be able to contact me
personally any more due to security issues. I assure you that the axon
with the number listed in the attached image is secure and it would be
impossible for enemies or others to listen in on our conversations. If
I misinterpreted your orders or you are still not convinced that this
is a secure line, then I understand - please believe that I am simply
doing as much as I can for the crew, as I believe that I can help and
this information might assist you in your aims. Thank you. I will
stand by for further orders.
Sincerely,
Lt. Col. JR

I received a reply at 5:17 PM CST today with the following information:
---
Excellent work, soldier.
Your talents are crucial to team morale.
---
Not sure if this means she'll call me live or if a PM just really likes Pink Floyd. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

This week's recruit .wav file makes me happy. Because it's me. And because she edited out the embarassing parts and my one major slip when I was playing the song.
