It's a SPEC based on J^2 saying that he didn't come alone as well as Jan stressing how important that rule was today. I'm SPEC'ing that Gladys had something to do with Jan's capture and that she's in cahoots with Kinkle. That's my SPEC anyway.

Whoa. Hate it and hope you're wrong, but it just occurred to me, Gladys was the one who sent Jan to Kinkle in the first place when she told her to go to Charfies (no clue how that should be spelled)

Interesting thought but wouldn't the all-knowing Durga have been able to identify Gladys and Monster Ann as one in the same?

Only with enough evidence. Up until last week, Durga was pretty much focused on our five main characters. I spec that after last week's events, Durga started peering into Thin's world, and came up with the existence and location of his boss, but hasn't had a chance to capture her on the chatternet. Perhaps she is in effect a Keyser Soze, a name that people know of and fear, but very few individuals have met face to face and know her identity. So at this point, she's just a name, with nothing else to attach to it.

Although it would be twisted to have her be Gladys- supposing that she set all of this up and betrayed J 2 .
