I sent a picture with text embedded at the END of the picture, no visible corruption. However, no response yet.

I'm not sure I can see how being in the rank and file is specialized, but the sentiment is clear ... one category per crew member only.
But does it appear that we can do several separate submissions from a single axon? I believe that there will be four of us at our axon today. Can we do two crewmembers as science staff, and two others as regular crew? We would submit in separate e-mails. Could we do four submissions for four people?

Has anybody sent in a picture with some hidden/embedded text for the Sleeping Princess? Or maybe a picture with a red ballon in it? The SP did ask for a sign of some sort.

Question... I'm trying to submit a future axon, and I went during my lunch to snap a photo per Mel's request... but I tried several things and couldn't get the number to look any good. Anyone know a good way to take a picture of that tiny phone number printed on a payphone?
It depends on what your using to take the picture but it looks like your getting to close to the phone. Try upping the resolution of the picture taken in the camera and then backing away a little. They can always magnify the picture.

Thanks. I also got a PM telling me that I might look into seeing if my camera has an option for close-up pictures, and to switch to that.
Thanks for the help, now I just have to find time to go and re-do it!

General Seraph AKA laard Melissa just sent me this reply when I sent her the pic as an Elite Force member:
-----
General Seraph,
I do not regonize archangel as an Elite Forces position.
However, I will accept you as a member of my rank and file.
Good work.
--
update... Melissa sent me this:
General Seraph,
Since I started making contact with my crew, there has been a
disappointing incidence of sabotage and betrayal.
I have received information from a trusted crew member regarding the
visual evidence you provided. A trusted crew member has informed me
that the evidence may be compromised. That the person in the photo
may not, in fact, be you.
You are advised to submit follow-up documentation if you wish to
retain your crew status.
my reply to her:
Someone is mistaken. The photo is of me, though I
admit it was not taken today, I retrieved it from the
archive. Please forgive me, for i was unable to
obtain the proper imaging equipment so all I had to
work with was the archive.

May be obvious but don't try photoshopping the pic if you can't get to an axon. Doesn't work unfortunately.

Photos I put this up in axon coordination, too, but...
I have a phone that will only send pictures to other phones. If someone has a phone that can accept pictures and email them, could I send it to you and could you email it back to me at phaedra_amunetSPLAT hotmail.com so I can email it to Melissa? If so, please PM me with your phone number.
Thanks a million.

Staying in character I'm not sure if this helps, but it would probably be rewarded if you stay in character. For example, I submitted the following for my pic:
me wrote:
Melissa,
Science Officer SuperJerms reporting in for duty! Attached is a picture of me doing some field research on the effects of standard civilian petrol products on Covenant blood samples. As we already knew, oxygen seems to react chemically with the blood, causing it to change hue to a blue/green color. Unfortunately, as you can see here, the addition of gas fumes to this process creates a corrosive agent. We must be careful to not engage the enemy in the vicinity of fuel depots, as the addition of corrosive agents to fuel reserves (not to mention projectile weaponry!) would certainly have catastrophic results!
Respectfully,
Science Officer SuperJerms
P.S. Do not worry about me, I have been trained in field medical response. Aside from the temporary pain, I am fully prepared for future research. However, if you are able to pressure command for more funding, I would appreciate it. Incredible that they expect us to induct potentially dangerous field experiments without even providing the basic safety equipment! But I digress...
EDIT:
I thought about it, and decided to follow up with a couple of phone numbers and an appeal that I am loyal enough to suffer injury for Mel:
Quote:
Melissa,
I almost forgot! There are two local axons you can reach me at:
Chatter #: 260.###.####
Located at 41.1142 -085.1147
Chatter #: 260.###.####
Located at 41.1142 -085.1147
Of course, these are not secured lines, they are public.
You can also reach me at my own private line:
Chatter #: 260.###.####
My private line is secure. I understand that you want proof that you can trust a crewmember before using their private lines. I hope the experiment I conducted per your request gains your trust (especially since it burned me in the process!). I have included in this transmission a close up of the burn on my hand for further documentation of the experiment. I currently am running an analysis on some of the burn tissue, to extrapolate information about the chemical reaction.
Respectfully,
Science Officer SuperJerms

I sent a picture of me doing a (red) "balloon sculpture" as Entertainment (with stegged info at the end of the file -- the pic itself showing no sign of corruption). Weak, I know. But no response yet.

I emailed Melissa again with a pic of me on a cell phone and this time had my brother in the shot too. She wrote back accepting both of us.
SO to reiterate - crew members CAN send pics of themselves with a cell phone instead of a payphone. Just specify that the cell is your axon as a crew member
Oh, and if you want confirmation, just ask her to confirm. She emailed me back within 2 min.

Update from the field Sorry to intrude, but I don't know which threads people are reading.
Melissa asked someone in the field to relay this information to the rest of the crew:
1. There will be a reward for the picture with the most rank and file crew members in it.
2. All that the rank-and-file pictures require is salutes at a payphone.
3. Melissa wants to bring Dana into the fold. She said that Dana would respond well to kindness.
