Yeah, so was I. But it's nice to see that Bungie stuck to their guns and kept Cortana sorta the way she was. "The Fall of Reach" explains that Cortana was basically made from a flash cloned brain of Dr. Hasley. This way, they could make an AI out of Dr. Hasley without killing her (the normal proc for AI creation). Cortana essentially looks exactly like Dr. Hasley, but with all that code running through her, etc. Keyes (who is a Lt. Junior Grade at the time I think) meets Dr. Hasley earlier in the book, and describes Dr. Hasley as striking, but not necessarily beautiful.

 		Cortana's code decrypts to "This girl is smart"...

Is it me, or does all this look like Cortana has taken over the Covie control post?? Wouldn't that explain the "it's not what you think"? These aren't actually Covie transmissions, they're Cortana inside the Covie network! That's my SPEC. ^_^

 		While I suspect this ia problem with my hardware, I'm gonna ask just to be sure. Where are passwords, wallpapers, and Cortana?

I see info on MC, Sgt. johnson, and Elite, and a Prophet in the outer riung, and the inner ring is blank.

Am I missing something?

 		Yeah, it looks like there are at least 3-4 pages that a are protected. I can't seem to get to a point where I can input anthing into those boxes. Can anyone input data into those?

 		click parts of the actual frames to enter the inner rings, wait for them to load, and voila

And I can't seem to enter anything either... maybe decoding more of the site will help...

 		the order of clickage goes like this

scroll to the prophet and enter that section. scroll to the right you should come to a page with a triangle with some boxes below. just type to enter the password. you'll see the boxes light up as you type.


the two hands on the left scroll you back and forth within the current menu. the buttons on the right enter and exit the current submenu.

 		anyone want to create a full alphabet using the info from the first 'inner' ring (clicking 'hunt him' on the opening page)

It would be useful in deciphering the rest of the site and I don't have a good enough program to do it with, MS Paint is NOT friendly for this kind of stuff.

Hrm, after decrypting the Elite's "our race: natural born killers" page, I may have to adjust my spec that this is Cortana sending us these messages from a Covie command post... darn! ^_^
