Yes, most likely you are correct in that Hot means she is pissed. My first thought though, was that she has been stolen.

True, hot could mean pissed, but what if it means Hot in the way that our Axons are Hot? Is Cortana active? Connected? Seeking? Has she/will she be tomorrow/Are we supposed to Enhottenate her?

Time will tell, I suppose. In the puzzle thread someone who helped make the puzzle (allegedly) came forward and said we weren't supposed to have figured it all out before tomorrow's update.

Oh well.

They underestimated the intensity of the ARG fans and the Bungie fans.

Also, I think the idea of cortana being hot as in stolen is intriguing.

What about the possibility of Cortana being hot as in one of the stages of rampancy?

Anger is the second stage of rampancy.

This is probably way off but it seemed to fit with spec I had been reading for a while now.

Alright... The We cracked the code and now have a language to work with. Just in case they thow some full length paragraphs at us.

This can be a side project for us to figure out when in between Updates for ilovebees.com

If this is Covie Language.... Then the Halo2.com site has been taken over by the Pious Flea or a new Covenant A.I.. [Wild Spec] - That this site will tie in with the ilovebees site. WAIT.... Oh my God!?!?! We now have a Covie Language. What if we tried to talk to the Pious Flea with it. How would it respond? Or would it respond at all?

Maybe I'm going a little toooo deep into the Rabbit Hole.

P.S. but it sure is worth a try......

Guys, I find it more likely that this was a fun little side game, as a means of distraction. The audio drama being played out on ILB is getting so intense... what with Jim James and all... that this did act as a fun little side quest. It IS possible that it's working more like a multiple site arg and these figures and characters were a way to pull us into the methods being used in the new set of websites...

But again... using the All Your Base Are Belong To Us reference? That's just a little too net-culture savvy to not be classic Bungie humor.

And they had to know that people who decoded "Cortana Is Hot Now" would be ILB players, so they likely meant "You can't call her on the phone, so stop trying."
