 		[SPEC] Help me warn the SP before its too late!
After reading the contactme page, I think we can all see the effect the Pious Flea is beginning to have on SP, and I, for one, will not see the only openly friendly AI on that sight go all "truth"y on us, so I sent this email, telling her that PF is a danger, she shouldn't be taken in by the montra, she's starting to become corrupted just like the queen, she should remember she's a little girl not a computer program for seeking the truth, etc. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be suprised if PF is monitering incoming emails, and filtering them, to make sure this warning doesn't get through. Solution?

Overload him.

If we can get everyone out there SPARMY and crewmembers alike to send warning emails to the SP, then maybe we can stop the PF from filtering all of them. The first time I emailed SP, I told her her identity, and she was soon captured, and after coming out acknowledged she had a brother. The second time I emailed her I asked her for a way to contact her without traveling to axons, that was last week, and we got all these phone numbers and picture options (still didn't manage to get in but its still cool). I'm not sure if I directly caused these events, or I'm just reeeally lucky, but I'm hoping that if my email doesn't make a difference that someone else's will.

So, if you guys will start an influx of emails warning the SP, we might just be able to save the SP from the PF.

The nature of the pious flea is still a mysterious one, with a lot of spec coming up that he may be a legit version of the SPDR program. Not to mention that one time when he switched to the "survive, evade, resist, escape" mantra. My point is that I don't think we should jump to conclusions that the pious flea is the enemy. After all in this case it appears beholding the truth is peripheral to helping durga.

Of course, it's also possible that the pious flea is simply brainwashing the SP so that he can !attach Shocked

 		I don't think the Flea brainwashed the SP. Rather, I think that's the SP using the Flea's own language to coax him into doing what she wants, for her own reasons.

 		Here's a wild [SPEC] thought.
We know:
- that somehow Melissa got thrown back in time.
- That Durga is Yasmine
- That SP might also be Yasmine
- That Melissa and Durga have a connection
- SP and Melissa both peak of "surgery" and losing limbs and being replaced with mechanical pieces

So.... supposition [SPEC] Is it possible that Durga=SP=Melissa=Yasmine somehow fractured in the space time continum oops
Side [SPEC] - Melissa mentioned that just before the jump to slip steam she saw the

So is it possible that the ship saw them and fired just as they jumped. This is based on the above staement and the fact the dropped from slipstream space to "earth orbit" and almost immediately exploded and went down.

So back to the question at hand. If the fracture of space-time caused the split of Melissa/Durga/SP, would it be hard to suppose that SPDR and Pious Flea are one and the same fractured?

Could it be that Melissa (albeit confused and insane right now), PF and SP are in their own way trying to all achieve the same goal? Reach Durga and warn her about the artifact?

 		If mellissa was trying to warn Durga about the artifact, why was she with holding the Herzog plot from Durga?

The fact is we saw the flea slowly corrupting Melissa, look at the steady change from survive, evade, resist, escape to survive reveal evade escape, slowly changeing to what we saw when Melissa caught the SP, completely admitting that the objective was seek, reveal, behold.

The SP has gone from dealing with PF from a belittling tone, to a friendly one as of late. And she is starting to talk about the trueth as if it is her goal too.

The second quote is a perfect example of this corruption. While I STILL don't know what is up with the flea using the survive, evade, resist, escape montra, we can definetly see that the flea is slowly corrupting the SP just as it did the PF.

I am really suprised I had to argue this point... Oh, well the quotes are out there now and I hope you all will send an email as recommended above.

Erm, no, that's a non sequitor. She uses Flea's mantra when she wants to convince him of something. Cutting someone off and not letting them get a word in edgewise is another popular way to get someone to accede to you. Using both methods, by "cutting him off and saying it herself" = cowed Flea.
Have you noticed that she only gets truthy when she's talking to the Flea? When she's talking to us, she doesn't bring it up...even after she got truthy with the Flea in previous weeks. Either she's not being influenced the way you think she is, or the influence is so short-term as to be useless.

 		It's pretty simple when you get down to it - the Flea is corrupting Melissa; you can tell that because he is making her do what he wants. When it comes to the SP, though, it is her making him do what she wants. She's figured out how to get him to do what she wants, and she's exploiting that to the fullest.

Who knows, maybe she's figured out that putting on a little girl's voice is the best way to get us to do what she wants. Wink

 		It never occured to me that the SP would be the type of AI to just use people. If she is indeed simply putting on an act for the flea then there would be nothing to say that she isn't putting on an act for us.

 		Agreed, I don't think the Flea has affected the SP at all. The SP is using it for her ends.

God, this is one hell of a case of split personalities.

 		Umm, when has she talked to us recently? all of her updates on contactme thus far have been convos with the flea, and thats the only way for her talk to us directly, which she really hasn't done.

As for her useing the flea, I am starting to see what you guys are talking about...

That does seem to be using his own programming against him...

Still, what harm could warning the SP of something she's already aware of do? And what if I'm right? then warning her could have a positive effect. I don't think theres any real danger in saying "be aware that the PF is not and cannot be your friend." just in case.
