[META] Where are we at?

Ok, I realize this is a little sad coming from a moderator. I do apologize, real life has taken me away from the game for the past couple of weeks, but I think things are back on track now.

So, where do we stand? The PG page has been halted. Are we waiting for something to happen? There seems to be this new infocyclone site, but I have no idea where we found out about that or what its relevance is.

Can someone clear all this up?

Okay, the current state of play is:

Project Gateway has been crashed. Leo Boomer had this chat with cc32 just before:

Quote:

pgcc32: Roberts: Prepare for a revolution.
Le0B00mer: revolution?
pgcc32: Roberts: The field is about to change, and the wind shall blow in a different direction.
pgcc32: Roberts: The fury of the winds is at hand.
Le0B00mer: A revolution for the good or the bad?
pgcc32: Roberts: Project Gateway, as you know it, will crash tomorrow morning at 10:24 AM EST.
Le0B00mer: wow
Le0B00mer: what will cause this
Le0B00mer: ?
pgcc32: Roberts: A desire to correct past errors and find new life.
pgcc32: Roberts: You will come to understand our actions, in time.
Le0B00mer: ok
pgcc32: Roberts: Everything follows in time.

Soon after this, NashCarey was contacted with a request to interview some of his members over at IU about ARGs by the webmaster of Infocyclone.org - it wasn't till afterwards that it was realised this site was Gateway-related by looking at the whois (it has various references to Pottsville, projectgateway, etc). They then posted this article after the interview.

So at the moment we're kind of stuck until PG comes back up again.. haven't heard from Emily et al in a while.

chat log

I thought there was more to the chat with leo boomer than what is posted here. Is there a way to get the complete chat log? I should have retained it when leo boomer mentioned it in chat. I know there was a secret portion also.

I remember something about a certain(unnamed) online player, a bracelet and the bending of reality...

Speculation

The Roberts AI warned us not to lose faith in the days ahead.
There have been many discouraging things happening to the game recently and I believe it's all meant to test our faith.

* The Project Gateay website has been halted.
* The rendezvous have stopped
* We haven't heard from our usual contacts in a while.
* ARGN has removed PG from the quick-links at the top of the page.
* Henry Shaw has posted an article on Project Gateway that seems to caution people away from this game.

I fear the slow times may last for a while longer*. The best we can do is to keep our faith in CC32 and Roberts.

* Possibly nothing, but project gateway went offline at 10:24AM. I'm holding out hope that it goes back online on 10/24.
