To Thorne, who became notorious to many of the game's players for figuring out where Melissa, one of the characters, was hiding and then turning her in , keeping the curtain in place is crucial.
when reporters can't get their facts straight, i do this

one player even braved Florida's Hurricane Ivan to answer a call at a pay phone that was destroyed shortly afterward.
geeze, another error . . . unless there was a second hurricane-braving enhottenater after bugbbq. the hurricane axon was during frances [or possibly charley], and wasn't destroyed, it was just cut from the game.

Oh God, the BlackForge axon site is linked to. Bandwith is going to be shot to hell.
Awesome, nonetheless, even though they got some information wrong.

In any case, the phones keep ringing all across the United States, and they are even beginning to ring in Holland and England.
Reporter makes another mistake or reporter accidentally reveals new axon?

I am skeptical about the game ending November 9th. The only corroborating quote is from weephun, really, unless the PMs told Daniel something further.

Heh, I wonder if maybe he saw Giskard's 'axon report':

Makes you wonder if the 'six main characters' thing is straight from the PMs' mouths or just another bit of shoddy journalism.
If it's true, who do the PMs consider the six main characters? Jersey, Jan, Kamal, Roni and . . . ? Dana? Are they counting Melissa, Durga and the Sleeping Princess as one character or three? Is there no love for the Pious Flea? Did Herzog die in vain?

i think they only mean for the drama portion, comparing it to Casablanca
Jersey, Jan, Kamal, Sophia, Ranni, Durga
although if speaking "off-the-cuff", he probably didn't bother to think about exactly who was an A level character and who was a B level
