Character-AI connection [SPEC]

I posted this in response to another speculation in this forum (Time to make a difference) but then decided it might merit a whole thread in its own due to extent of speculation and topic. (Please feel free to trout if I missed something somewhere.)
Well here goes:

So is it possible that the ship saw them and fired just as they jumped. This is based on the above staement and the fact the dropped from slipstream space to "earth orbit" and almost immediately exploded and went down.

So back to the question at hand. If the fracture of space-time caused the split of Melissa/Durga/SP, would it be hard to suppose that SPDR and Pious Flea are one and the same fractured?

Could it be that Melissa (albeit confused and insane right now), PF and SP are in their own way trying to all achieve the same goal? Reach Durga and warn her about the artifact?

Yes, it would be very hard. I've gone through this before. PF is posing as an SPDR; it is not a true SPDR. This can be seen in the sequence where it evaded SPDR, adopted the SPDR-disguise it now wears, and finally got Melissa to destroy SPDR. It had to try three times to fool SPDR. It didn't know for certain how to convince SPDR to lay off. The first time, it tried to pass itself off as SPDR, but the real SPDR demanded a version number, and the stumped Flea responded with 0. Bzzt, wrong, SPDR attacks. The second time, it tried using SPDR's own version number which it managed to catch last time. Bzzt, wrong again, SPDR has zero tolerance for multiple copies of itself. SPDR attacks. Third time, PF offers a version number higher than SPDR's own. SPDR is thoroughly stumped, and kinda sits there. PF sweatdrops, contacts Melissa herself and goes through its "look, I'm SPDR!" routine, successfully fooling her. She removes the real SPDR because PF has tricked her into thinking it's outdated.
Anyway, the point: if PF truly were an SPDR, it would have been much more efficient at removing the other SPDR.

Well, Melissa certainly isn't. Here's some telling quotes from ilovebees:
