[INFO] LIVE CALL 10/12! Okay, here's the word from MikeWas who was in the field.
Melissa needs her crew to do another task. She needs them to take pictures of themselves doing their tasks. Effectively, she wants to generate an image of her crew doing certain things (likely as part of today's lists of images) as part of their speciallties (fitting in our categories today, who's wearing the scuba mask?)
and initiative will certainly be rewarded!

Did she give a deadline? I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, and could probably convince him to take a picture of me holding some of the less dangerous equipment.

Want to help the SP? Don't forget people, if you want to send a message to the SP, these pics are your chance! You can either put some subtle sign in the picture (I believe red balloons were a favourite SPEC) or you can hide text in the image, much like the SP has been doing with us.
To hide text in an image without corrupting the image, you need to open the image in a hex editor and add the text after the end of the file. You can't do this in Notepad or Wordpad as they alter the rest of the file when opening it, so then saving it again ruins the image.
I don't know of any hex editors, maybe someone who does know of a free downloadable one could post a link to it here? And if anyone does hide text in the image, can someone please ask the SP for a hint on the prepositions puzzle?!

Gotta be a phone in the picture!!!

For clarification, that message was recevied by Cortana as an e-mail from Melissa after he sent a picture without a phone in.
- Malrog is hoping to stem the tide of "Where did that come from?" posts.

even more clarification Is the task request only from live calls, or does the script also make the request?
Also, are the tasks specific (ie she asks me specifically to go scuba) or can anyone perform any currently unfilled task (ie 1st person to send in the scuba pic fills the spot)?
Does she specify what constitutes the more general tasks like Science & Medical, Rank and File, Elite Forces, etc? It's pretty obvious what scuba might involve, but the others less so.

If you send in a "bad picture" (without a phone) you get the following message from Melissa
