Can I also take this opportunity to ask people to stop posting about irrelevant stuff in this topic. It is supposed to be a place for newbies to come and find the resources they need to get caught up on the game so far, but instead has degenerated into random posts that don't belong anywhere else.

 		Out Of Game Websites
On the topic of beginners getting useful info, here's some sites that we're pretty confident are out of game but that people keep asking about:

mssv.net - a blog for Adrian Hon (the main PM). Take this one with a pinch of salt though - there's a slim possibility that this one may contain a clue or two on occasion if we're all really stuck.......

Flickr: Adrian Hon - another site with some info about Hon.

jobs.perl.org - a job ad for people to run the game behind the curtain - something we're supposed to pretend we didn't see.

thehuttofamily.com - the website for The Hutto Family - used to have the perplexcity.com url.

The Metaphor Gazette - pure conincidence on the name.

Sente.co.uk - some software company.

NikDoof.net - Nik_Doof's blog. He's one of us, silly Very Happy

City Of Squirrels - some guy's blog that mentions the game.

Well, that seems to be all the sites that keep cropping up when someone new gets to this forum. Also, googling for "perplex city" will turn up the primer at tranZed, the Wiki, and one or two other blogs (such as mine - see link in .sig) but all of these are about the game, not in the game. Hope this helps. Did I miss any?

Hi,

I'm a noob in the ARG world and I hope this hasn't been posted yet (search gave nothing).
I just noticed that there is a webmail page now on www.zeller.com
I haven't tried to login, but clues regarding the UN/PS may be in the perplexcity pages.

Hiya All,

I have just spent most of the day.... since the postman arrived anyway, reading through your posts and links. I have read almost all the posts on Project Syzygy and the pre-game, I gotta say I am very excited and cant wait for things to get going.

Just thought I would say this is a great newbie thread really brought me up to speed, and of course Hiya.

 		I don't think http://www.zeller.com is in game. A whois shows it belongs to a Matthew Zeller, not Hesketh Zeller

and also, the site is made with frontpage..hardly professional, it looks crap too, and one of the 'link' doesnt work (namely the information)...

unless the website has been bought or something and hasn't been updated yet and maybe In game in the future...

Hi everyone,

i'm a newbie today... having registered with perplex city after seeing the ad in firebox a while back, i've just recieved the first clue.

(I ordered weasel coffee too. snap!)

no idea... still reeling from the amount of info already out there *g*

I;ve never played anything like this b4 and i must say it's intriuging (sp?)

just wanted to say hello and wondered what ppl thought of the video clip and the dates in the clip?

 		At the moment it seems there's nothing unusual about the video, someone has posted a transcript of the dialogue and about the dates and the papers, the only one that's already up is USA Today, I think there's an ad in the classifieds today... It just says something about the cube being lost and that there's a reward for it..
