[SPEC]Just had a thought... what was the NARPASSWORD for in the original Metroid? Maybe bringing that up would help things along?

Hey - I'm new to this ARG thing, but since I curiously followed ilovebees, and I'm a huge Metroid fan, i decided to try this out...

I didn't know about the NARAPASSWORD until this forum, but what about the other "secret password" in the original Metroid, the famous Justin Bailey? That let you play without Samus's helmet on, just about ready to storm Tourian.

If you catch KA online, you may want to mention that name.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

As far as we can tell, the characters have no dierct connection or knowledge of metroid. A couple people on the many forums devoted to this have asked questions about metroid....they just kinda shrug it off.

Binary at bottom of Monster.com job entry reads: "light". Not sure if significant (to the puzzle specifically, as from what I've read, light and dark are quite significant to MP2).

hmm thats weird that Athena Astronautics is even listed in Monster.com.

I guess it means that of course Athena is the Light Side and Artemis is the Dark Side. Just another clue hinting at its position.

I find it interesting that on the Monster ad they say to "reference" that number on the site, but there seems to be no place on the Athena site to reference *anything*.

Could it lead to a secret page? (light.html and light.htm don't exist, neither does just light)

Edit: I also just tried clicking the "on" and "off" buttons for the audio in a pattern suggested by the number (0=off, 1=on), but it also did nothing.

right now, i'm skeptical of that job listing, simply because the email is a gmail account. i would assume that athena would have *@athenaastronautics.com addresses. so,i wouldn't take anything on there too seriously...
