EMAIL: Self-destructing ("Your Second Step") DAMN!
I'm at work, got the self-destructing email, and it vanished!!!
After I clicked, it gave me a flashing cursor which seemed regular, not morse, and then it vanished. I guess I clicked in the wrong place - I didn't see what some folks got as an exipry warning...
Did anyone get to read it?????????

Let me just say that this is the sweetest thing ever. Thanks to warnings from the clan in #ctw, I was prepared with my digicam when I opened the email. I'll upload photos when I get home (after I fix the file attachment mod ).

22 25 24 0 23 24 10 23 14 9 23 7 20 1 22 10
I'd say straight alphabetic substitution at first glance, except for that random 27 in there.

POOF! THANKS KyraB (and Spacebass). Never mind the clue, I wanted to hear that someone else was as clunky as me...
This is why I hate being at work when things are happening.
And I love all the warning around it. Like covering it in catnip. I couldn't wait to open it. Hence, the screwup...

AWESOME WORK! I tried to take it down by hand, but only got half of it before mine blew up. I can confirm that at least the first half of your email was the same as mine, so it looks like it is not specific to any one person. Now let's get crackin

here's the message source, though it doesn't do anything now. I'll see what I can dig up.

Here's a straight alphanumeric on it, although I doubt that's the key..since there are a few zeros and a 27 in there. :/
CGHIHZPEEPEZNQBPV(27)NX
PVCNLEOH(0)MECG(0)CBGPRG
PVENLZGC
CXYHJANWP(0)RXY(0)AKNP
EHKVXPXAWJNAWGX
VYX(0)WXJWNIWGTAVJ
Probably useless, but maybe it'll help someone see a pattern.

I got the "you can only read this once" warning, clicked okay, and then the message flashed for about a quarter second and then was replaced with the "expired" message. I should have at least had a chance to read it once!

The second and third lines interest me, particularly the start of them:
16 22 3 14 12 5
16 22 5 14 12 26
Obvious repetition there, with a 3/5 sub and a 5/26 sub. But those two lines start off pretty close to the same.
The sequence right before that is close, too:
16 22 27 14 24
We still have the "16 22 x 14 x" repetition there. And 24 is 2x12. I'm not sure what that means yet.
