[PUZZLE - SOLVED] hindi

From sequoya's conversation with pgcc32 in thisthread we have the new command hindi. (This command probably came from the update of the key description page listed in thisthread.)

The title of the page is "Hindi Sad Diamonds" and on the page is
Quote:
"Find the pieces of the movie, and you shall find Lady Luck herself."
Bellow that is an image, which I believe is a moulin rouge movie poster.

I believe the "pieces of the movie" to mean:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love. (These are a major theme of the movie.)

We've already found Truth and Freedom on the 32nd Notes page.

Can someone try to find the original image on www.clubmoulinrouge.com? We may be able to tell if moulinrougeA.jgp is stegged or not with that information.

Any speculation on who Lady Luck is?

Runemania: a bunch of text
pgcc32: Guard: Interesting...
pgcc32: Guard: I'm quite confused now.
Runemania: thats how we sometimes send you wrongly formatted keys
Runemania: we have the text out of line
pgcc32: Guard: Yes, some of the keys do come in pretty mangled. Can't even get them into their locks.
Runemania: ahh i found it
pgcc32: Guard: Yes?
Runemania: think yo could dig up a bit of info on a subject?
pgcc32: Guard: If I see it in the newspaper, maybe.
pgcc32: Guard: I can't exactly leave my post.
Runemania: do you see anything on an "apoc"
pgcc32: Guard: Apoc? Like Apocalypse?
Runemania: ahh thats it?
pgcc32: Guard: Well, that's what Apoc is usually short for.
pgcc32: Guard: So I'm told.
Runemania: ty
pgcc32: Guard: Anything else?
Runemania: hows pittsburg?
pgcc32: Guard: What's pittsburg?
Runemania: wrong aim
Runemania: sorry
pgcc32: Guard: Oh. Ok.
pgcc32: Guard: Anyway kid, I better get back to work.
Runemania: okay
Runemania: one last thing
pgcc32: Guard: Yeah?
Runemania: what happens when all the keys are in their holes?
pgcc32: Guard: All the keys?
pgcc32: Guard: Like, every single key?
Runemania: yes
pgcc32: Guard: Ah, yes, they complete a data circut, which leads to the main breaker.
pgcc32: Guard: When that breaker is set off, the firewalls around the cells drop.
Runemania: and everyone is freed?
pgcc32: Guard: Meaning the data inside can escape into the rest of the program.
pgcc32: Guard: Or whatever the program is attached to.
Runemania: okay
Runemania: ty
pgcc32: Guard: You know what kid, you've been really nice to me.
pgcc32: Guard: No one comes to talk anymore.
Runemania: i believe everyone is equal
pgcc32: Guard: Hmmm... I don't have much to give though... but I want to give you something.
Runemania: AI's and people alike
pgcc32: Guard: You like movies?
Runemania: yea
pgcc32: Guard: Maybe you can make use of this then.
Runemania: okay
pgcc32 wants to send file C:\Documents and Settings\Dj.END-ABZ5JJTD0F8\My Documents\download\runemania\MoulinRouge-B.jpg.
pgcc32: Guard: It came in the paper a couple days ago.
Runemania: cool
pgcc32: Guard: I'm not a fan of musicals. Maybe you can hang it on your wall or something.
Runemania: lol
Runemania: okay
Runemania: i know just the place
Runemania: right next to my fiddler on the roof poster
pgcc32: Guard: Cool... although I don't know if this movie would compare too much with Fiddler on the Roof...
Runemania: no, but theyre both good movies
pgcc32: Guard: True. You ever see this one?
pgcc32: Guard: This Moulin Rouge?
Runemania: i may have seen it
Runemania: but i have to wait till i get the image
Runemania: to see what version
pgcc32: Guard: Ah.
Runemania: because theres a real version
Runemania: and an animated
pgcc32: Guard: Ah, this one looks real.
Runemania: im sorry
pgcc32: Guard: For?
Runemania: my dial up connection must seem so primative and slow
Runemania: it would be faster if we direct connected and you pasted the image
pgcc32: Guard: Nah... the torotise always beats the hare.
Runemania: lol
pgcc32: Guard: Don't worry yourself, it will be worth it.
Runemania: okay
Runemania: one last question
pgcc32: Guard: Yeah?
Runemania: ever heard of immersion unlimited?
pgcc32: Guard: Yeah... prisoner 3201 spouts out stuff like that.
Runemania: do you have a link there?
pgcc32: Guard: Me? Nah.
Runemania: curses
pgcc32: Guard: But CC32 does give prisoner 3201 some rights sometime though.
pgcc32: Guard: I never know why though.
Runemania: prisoner 3201 has power over all programs
pgcc32: Guard: It's like prisoner 3201 can rewrite the rules or something to that effect. Like he has this power to just say something, and it happens.
Runemania: he could make you wear a dress
pgcc32: Guard: I don't think he could do that.
Runemania: lol
pgcc32: Guard: I've seen some magic in my day, but not that.
Runemania: lol
Runemania: do you think cc32 will allow a command promt connectionn to him?
pgcc32: Guard: Roberts is cursing again... probably not.
pgcc32: Guard: Because Roberts is throwing a hissy fit.
Runemania: lol
pgcc32: Guard: Any other time... maybe... with persuasion.
Runemania: whats cc32 like?
Runemania: i mean i know its a basic medium
Runemania: but it must have likes and dislikes
pgcc32: Guard: Fair. Balanced. Understanding. Not really.
pgcc32: Guard: It exists. It gives me orders, that's as far as I get.
Runemania: so how would i persuade it to allow a connection to the prisoner
pgcc32: Guard: I don't know really...
pgcc32: Guard: You know what, maybe that asshole has some ideas about that.
pgcc32: Guard: I mean, he's a representation of the creator, right?
Runemania: yesh
Runemania: but ais are know to grow their own opinions
pgcc32: Guard: True.
pgcc32: Guard: But he's the closest one to CC32.
pgcc32: Guard: Like a right-hand man, he is.
Runemania: maybe i can send him an AIML upgrade
Runemania received C:\Documents and Settings\Dj.END-ABZ5JJTD0F8\My Documents\download\runemania\MoulinRouge-B.jpg.
pgcc32: Guard: And there we have it.
Runemania: thank you
pgcc32: Guard: Possibly, but anyway, back to work.
Runemania: okay
pgcc32: Guard: Take care.
Runemania: you too
Runemania: dont cut urself on any keys
pgcc32: Guard: Command Prompt... whatever you want to do.
pgcc32: Guard: Got it.
pgcc32: Command Prompt: Disconnect........ done.
pgcc32: ---Line Disconnected---
pgcc32 is idle at 12:40:36 AM.

EDIT: I've debunked this post...see below.

One thing I've noticed is that each of the 4 pictures has an orange flame overlaid on the image that is definitely not part of the images on www.clubmoulinrouge.com. It is most easily seen on the Truth image. I don't believe this to be the work of JPEG compression.

I don't know if this is related to the puzzle or not.

I've attached an enhanced version of Truth so you can see what I'm talking about.

The images on the following site have the same flame qualities. I guess that closes that lead.

Ok, we've found all 4 images, so what do we do with them? I'm just going to brainstorm here, feel free to do the same.

  • Submit the 4 pictures to the guard as if they were a key?
  • The pictures are stegged? What would be the passwords?
  • Maybe a new feature of PG is already unlocked because we've got the images?
  • Maybe a single user has to collect all of the images directly from this system for this to work?
  • Maybe there's something visually in each image that adds up to a command?

I think every image has a letter in their name, like "MoulinRougeB". Maybe that's the order we're supposed to use them in, or submit them...

So in looking at the pictures, and placing them in ABCD order. I see a sort of a pattern in the general "shapes"

It looks like XIIV or XIII (or thirteen in roman numerals)...perhaps a fitting number for Lady Luck.

However, i havent found a command or anything from this, but i figured i would share.

If you look at the images in text you can see a sort of Photoshop information or signature. I've checked a couple of samples of the same image on the web and they don't have that info.
I guess it means thay're not stegged but just tampered with.. maybe some layering or that kind of stuff...
I don't have much practice with images so maybe someone can verify that..
