I think it's pretty conclusive that both this cubes piece and the 'haunch of venison' art gallery are out-of-game : )

I think those six pictures are just pictures about different aspects of the game. The bank note relating to the prize money. All english bank notes say London on them. I guess they chose to show that part of the note to show that it's based in England.

and also, is it true that the game is based in the uk? cause in the adrian hon chat he said something about being in the uk a plus for a player... so does this mean that us americans are out of luck? am i gonna miss out on some awesome puzzles?

I'd say - don't worry about it. Past ARGs, for the most part, were biased towards US players (live events took place in the US, phone calls went out to US players, etc.). Understandably, people in other countries (including UK) felt a little left out. It seems that this time at least the UK people will have as much stuff happening on their turf as the US people did before; and if "stuff" only happens in the UK - oh well, I guess it'll mean that it's our turn to whine and complain

Over at Real World Gaming there's a "mystery ARG" starting on the 25th. No real pre game stuff is going on, and I doubt it's the scale of Syzygy, but its something new, we don't have to wait 4 months for it to come out, and it says that we should be "prepared and ready". Theres a link to the site on the main of unfiction. Go there and go to "coming soon".

Eh, apparently Real World Gaming, ARG insider, and RG Alliance are all down. Seems their web hosting service has over taken them =(. So I dunno what to tell ya.

Grazi,
As you mentioned, RealWorldGaming.com and rgalliance.com are gone, so the Opt-In page doesn't work. As of this writing, the only links under "coming soon" on the main page of unfiction.com are project syzygy and orbital colony. Was there a third link that pointed to rgalliance.com? Did you "Opt-In" before the sites went away? If so, is there any hope that the game didn't go away when RealWorldGaming.com and rgalliance.com went away?

RWG is linked from the front page of UF - on the block of links, bottom left of the window.

Haunch Of Venison I think the Haunch of Venison angle is a dead end. They have been using that logo (I I / is a visual logo for H V) since way before the game was in pre production i think. The gallery opened 2002/2003 and they have only recently begun to represent the work of Keith Tyson...
His first one man show opens with them next week though and I'm going to the opening and after party so will report back after i get a good look at the cubes.
He won the Turner Prize last year.
