Syzygy? Are we stuck with the name Syzygy? Can't we have a more fun name like Perplexcity?

Perhaps we should wait until we actualy know what's going on. (Although, the way these things usualy play out that will be when we see the credits...)

Well, considering the PMs themselves have named it, then I think we should stick with this.
Plus, Perplexcity is such a crappy name

Bleh. It's hard to say (yes, I listend to the wav) and hard to write and hard to remember. And it doesn't look good in print. So there.

Your memory must be going TL if you can't remember it. It's a cool word and much more beautiful than that other one.

Besides, how can we call it Perplex City? That whole thing might end up being just one aspect of the game (could even end up being a minor one).
The PMs called it "syzygy", the autoresponder said "...thanks very much for your email and interest in PS." - not in PC. The Hons call it "project syzygy" in their blogs. The forum is already called "project syzygy" too. A bunch of people on the web that got interested in it called it "project syzygy" as well. The IRC channel is called "syzygy". I mean, I think renaming it now would just be confusing, not to mention - unnecessary.

Good points Yanka...
Truth be known, I was only objecting to wind up Wishi
But I do still think Perplex City is a cooler name.

I had heard that there was an older version of the perplex-city website, with an old puzzle game. Reusing that old game's name would be more confusing than using the new name.
For the spelling-impaired, I just remember it in syllables: sY-zY-gY (In my head, i'm pronouncing it 'sissijee' and not worrying about the z sound at all.)
I'm thinking the game at PerlexCity will be all about this missing cube. The letter has the name of the cube blacked out -- should it be called The Syzygy Cube?

I pronounce it the same way And it also makes typing it considerably easier!
I was also wondering that about the blanked out bit... I was looking at it earlier, and reckon that the word was about 6 or 7 letters long...

Speaking of the blanked out bit, the size of the box would prohibit there being a capital letter at the start of that word so it must be a description of it.
Unless, horror of horrors, there wasn't an actual word blanked out!
