Looks like the Gladys = Monster Ann theory just got destroyed in Babysitter. Unless I'm mistaken, Gladys doesn't sound like she's been smoking like a chimney

Help me out. Why exactly would Gladys turn on Gilly and Jan? Did her time as a Spartan jack her up even more so than Gilly? If so, she's more capable of controlling her eccentricities than Gilly is.[/i]
Read the first and third posts of Monster Ann=Gladys . I believe a strong case for this is made. It explains so much (not the least of which is how a dimestore bully and one helper easily took out a spartan who should be the match of any 30 normals). Without this, much makes no sense unless a different underlying plot can be found.
Looks like it will be a while till we know as a bunch of clips are now missed. If you know anyone who listened to those get the transcrips, or at least a summary, from them and get them up here! I am dying to know what is in "babysitter"!!!!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Babysitter is already up, and Monster Ann is not Gladys...

Yow! My reload hadn't worked. Now I hear the clip. Still could be a setup to "work" Jan. The spec was modified to include maybe Gladys just works for Monster Ann. Melissa has always put the most revealing clip last! However, I will admit that my confidence is shaken!

Sorry Arana (and the rest of you), Gladys is not Monster Ann
So now the question is, does Jan kill Thin? Monster Ann? Both?
I'm betting Gilly does it

Now that I think about it, both Ann and Kinkle seemed to be having difficulty breathing. There's a good chance they're both immobilized somehow.. perhaps someone used tear gas or a nonlethal grenade of some sort? This might explain what the "nice grenades" are.

I'm thinking they rushed the room, and both Thin and Ann got shot in the process... non-lethally, of course.

It doesn't sound to me like Thin is having any trouble breathing, just Monster Ann. But, he does sound fairly upset--he just might be about to die.

I would bet that as well. Gilly is crazy, but I would bet my last dollar that she still loved Jim. She probably wants revenge just as much as Jan, and has less moral blockades thatwould prevent her from going through with it.

That would explain the extreme smoker's hack.

Is Jan's experience with Cupid's Knife causing her hesitation at this point?

Good question, maybe. Or maybe she doesn't want to be like Thin.

they know the covies are on their way somehow...and Jan's mention of "joining up" really does lend credence to the idea that Master Chief will fight alongside our friends in the game itself (i'm hoping anyway)
