Here's mine.

"For your information, as per your request, please find enclosed rendered imagery of sound notations in the time zones requested. The top image shows standard musical notation for human reading and production in 2004. (Please note the superfluous symbolic embellishment that makes this system incompatible with primitive AIs of the present.) The bottom is a visual representation of a more complex and accurate system used by computers in 2552.

I sent her a picture of a space shuttle and compared it to a Pelican. I explained that it was a computer model of a Pelican because...well, real Pelicans don't exist in 2004.

My pics

I went for more general stuff...

I sent 4 pics: One of the home. one of personal computers. One of the medical practice and one of a PDA/chatter ear piece.

Maybe a little hokey, but I thought it was kinda original.

I spent more time on this than I probably needed to, and by the time I got it done I see I'm not the first to go this route, but I'm proud of the end result anyway.

Would've been faster but GIMP kept crashing on me...

I'm sending her a picture of money right now, and claiming that in 2552 Humans have advanced past it, there should be no analogue for it.

hehe

Here's another. The message was too long to post, but I attached it just in case you really want to know. I tried to define the word "quaint" (2552quaint.jpg). In the course of it, I also found myself having to describe "cute" (see original.gif).

I take it that nobody's heard anything back from Melissa yet?

Lots of funny stuff going on here. Very Happy Anyway, here's mine. I decided to tackle vending machines. I don't know why, but I've had burritos on the brain since last week's clips...as you can see from the daily specials--coffee, pigeon (well, cornish hen, close enough), and BURRITOS!! Wink

See the vending machine of the FUTURE!!!!!11OMG

(the version I'm sending has a message for the SP embedded)

This is my first post, so advance apologies if I screw it up. Here's what I sent in just now, with an email about it being a social constuct as a local sandwich shop. Only thing that really changed over all those years is the customers.
And of course the whole thing was just a silly excuse to make a joke of the Halo 2 ads...

Interactive Video Entertainment

nice, simple, and the crew at Bungie oughta get a kick out of it. I originally considered using Halo2 as my "now" pic, but figured that might serve to only confuse things.
