Here's my stuff. You guys can REALLY work some magic with thet photoshop stuff. I need to find out how to do that stuff, but in the meantime I just drew something and edited it in paint. Embarassed

Oh...nevermind. Mine was of my old cell phone and I drew a kitten chatter. Like the ones Rani was trying to sell.

It's a bitmap, and it says it's not allowed so ...whetever. Hopefully you guys will see it on the web site soon. By the way...are attatchments acceptable by Melissa or does she need to see the image when she opens the email? Also, which email are we using to send it? Sorry for the questions, and thanks in advance for answering them - you're a helpful bunch. Very Happy

Hey guys, we had a chat with SP after the last axon spike. She loves the balloons but she's hoping for something more than just that. She suggested cake and ice cream. She made us say a cheer for ice cream that almost got us thrown out of the movie theater lobby. But there's your challenge!

Thanks a lot! Smile

Actually, one more. Should we state name and rank or does she care about that anymore?

Melissa,

Even though they're nearly obsolete here, vinyl records are often a favorite way to listen to older music. Some say the sound is just better, and sometimes I think they're right - the pops and scratches and the resonance of a needle flying along a single round ridged channel are like nothing else.

I suspect that in the time you are reminiscing for, music has been digitized and compacted, even usable as add-ons to chatter units. So, not only would you get Billy, Ella, Lena, and Sarah, but also Dizzy, Freddie, Lionel, Bud, Buddy, Vic, Helen, Anita, Betty, Nancy, Carmen, Peggy, Shirley, and Mel as well.

(We've got something similar now, even, but I suspect in the future memory storage and processing will hardly be a flicker, and compression won't affect sound quality and depth.)

Musically yours,

krystyn

Here's mine. Somewhat silly Wink , but I hope Melissa likes it. Too bad I didn't hear about SP's cake and ice cream until too late.

Melissa,

Per today's instructions, I am submitting an attached photo comparing an item from this year, 2004, with 2552.

Both of these items are called a "ghost." In 2004, we are very superstitious, and some believe that those who die come back as spirits, or ghosts. These are generally thought to have a pale appearance and hover above the ground. These apparitions cause large amounts of fear in our society. Because they are already dead, they can not be harmed or stopped from doing mischief.

In 2552, ghost has come to refer to a Covenant single-driver reconnaissance vehicle. It also hovers above the ground and inspires fear. My supplication is that the creators of the title "ghost" were lovers of history, and thus named the vehicle in homage to our old tales.

The cake and ice cream in 2004 is extremely messy. I find it almost impossible to eat this in the mess hall without getting it all over my uniform.

I miss the neatly self contained cryogen-cake/ice cream in 2552. My favorite flavor is chocolate. You?

Melissa asked us where we were, we told her a Train station.
She asked what a train was, when we tried to explain, she asked for a picture of the train now, and a picture of a train in 2552.

Here is my humble effort, sent in on behalf of our group:

Did any one succeed in making the animated poker chip? I just looked it up on my Paint Shop Pro manual. If some one still needs to know how.
