Not necissarily. All those clips really prove is that Jersey was speculating the same thing as most of us. I still think there was probably a seperate program to train young minds to fit the Smart AI program. It doesn't make sense that a military willing to kidnap children would rely on washouts to make their AIs. It would be much more efficient to make the Smart AIs from specially trained minds. Maybe the normal dumb AIs would be the washouts, but I can't see it for the smart ones.

A Spartan IS a specially trained mind. The children for the Spartan 2 program weren't chosen just for brute strength, they were also picked for high intelligence. They don't "wash out" because they're weak or cowardly, they wash out because the augmentation procedure is medically unsound. Those who fail augmentation are crippled or killed, and it's shown in The Fall of Reach that even failed Spartans are useful - their bodies may be crippled but their minds remain sharp.

Oh and, Dumb AIs are not made from human brains, they are just highly specialized programs. If there's a 2552 counterpart to the Microsoft Paperclip it would be the dumb AIs. (not Cortana!)

Hm...The dates would suggest Yasmine wasn't a part of MasterChief's group...

Anyone read Eagle117's spec posts on the Bungie.net forums? He has a theory that the Chiron training base multiplayer map from Halo 1 is the SIII training center. Doesn't that jibe with Durga's memory of running around in a castle?
She also mentions running around with a lot of people and sending messages. This seems quite reminiscent of MC's Spartan II training experiences. Except...in a big stone building with lots of rooms. The Chiron facility?

I still think that Durga is just picking up the Sleeping Princess. She has always called the ILB server a "castle," in that charming allegorical way she has. She has certainly been running around a lot, with a lot of people -- i.e., us -- and participating in the sending of many messages. I see nothing more complicated than that. (Just my opinion, of course.)
