 		[UPDATE] Dead Poems -> "Fragments" are the KEYS
The pop-up at Dead Poems has been updated with a link about our chat and a new message from Reed.

I've received a large quantity of e-mail about the material we covered, in addition to messages about discovering new meanings in some of the unsolved poems.

Readers seem particularly taken with the poem "fragments" that I discovered in my grandmother's hand-written pages and that I posted on this page for our Chat. Several of the messages included this compiled version of the fragments, assembling them into one coherent verse.

it circles, moves above another

a light, at last to set me free
her soft embrace, engulfing me

Even more fascinating was a missive from exceptionally astute reader in which he claims that these four lines have provided him the "keys" to solving the four numbered poems in the Dead Poems book. He promised to send me details shortly and I will share them with you as soon as he does.

 		I think Reed is trying to give us a little nudge here.

SPEC: Could Ann have written down some hints/secrets about the 7th Sons? Or maybe clues to The Unraveling?

Guess it's time to take another look at Dead Poem puzzles.

 		I've been wondering for a while on some wild spec - What if the messages actually are from Reed, not Ann, and this is a way for him to communicate secrets about...well, whatever the hidden messages refer to? It'd explain the apparant ASCII conundrum, for one. I mean, all we have is his word that he kept the original formatting and whatnot of the poems, or even that all the poems were written by Ann herself.

Could he really be a 7th Son member who wants to "out" the group?
And his heritage is just a sham (i.e. he is not Ann's grandson)?

Interesting spec.

Our mystery reader asserts that the four lines of the assembled poem fragments yield four keys for decoding the four "numbered" poems, one for each poem. And then he added, playfully, "It is elemental, really." I have some ideas about what he might be alluding to but thought I would share this exciting information with the other readers of Dead Poems in the meantime.

It would tie into 7th Sons and GMH, afterall.
