Clues and codes from the show

I need to re-watch the first episodes, but I was quite sure that there was a phone number written on a crumpled paper bag. I've seen no mention of it pop up here yet... any verification.

There was also a code entered on screen by one of the lab techs to gain entry to a door. ID of the tech and the code, anyone?

Anyone notice onscreen password entry or mail client views?

I'll have to re-watch the first episodes in the morning I think.

The phone number on the bag -appears- to be something like 1-416-XXX-XXXX. There is a voicemail set up there, but it sounds like a middle-aged man. I left a message for him to call me back, but I don't want to harrass an innocent man. The number is written a little too neatly on the bag, though.

I couldn't find the keypad portion in the show, however. Do you remember what scene it was in?

I'm working on doing some DTMF decoding on one of the other phone numbers now. (The one for the medical officer)

[EDIT] Note: I have been informed that the phone number that was posted above is out of game, and should not be called. -- AnthraX101 [/EDIT]

Ok, she calls a phone number at about 23:30 into the show. It seems to decode to "134725925".

Found the keypad sequence too, it looks to be some sequence of 5's and 8's, probably "8585".

Just to get all useless trivia in once place, the number of the bus she took is "3305" (when she gets on, when it pulls into Hazmat city it's "3309"), w/ license plate "BP1440".

It's hard to read the airline receipt, but one thing is clear is that all the flights are labled for April 17th w/ "Airlines of Canada Intl", Receipt #2543598720. It looks like a total price of $CAD 596.## (last two numbers unreadable). Without knowing the blank, I can't really tell what the other parts are.

Considering that the guy who answered the phone in the show itself was a middle aged man, it is possible that it's the right number. I'll look today, but DTMF should verify that number as well as he dials it.

The keycode thing involved a reporter with a tape recorder if memory serves.

While we're looking for clues that may not be clues - any idea what sandstrom's ring tone is? If it's a song or a default tone... if anyone can identify the notes either way? Just never know... Smile

Edit: Removed out-of-game phone number. -SpaceBass

Dr. Sandstrom was a bit older, it seems to me, but I could be wrong. There was no DTMF for the paper-bag phone number, it was called on a cell phone (usualy just beeps then) and at that was done durring a cut, so you can't see him dial.

/me wants a database of all the out-of-game people we've managed to affect in our search of all things ARG. It would be kind of interesting to see how many innocents we freak out with our questions about poisoned apples, six fingered men, and bees.
