I live about four hours - one way - from Austin, so I won't be able to make it. Plus I'm sixteen and they'll probably be checking IDs. A big thanks to the coordination group, especially Buzzkill who put up with no less than four calls from me (Lt. Col JR) and took the trouble of calling me back twice with updates, even though all I got today were three recordings (sigh). And a side note: Machivalli, I adore your avatar; I have that poster hanging over my bed. It's been a great run, guys, and I guess I'll just look forward to listening to this week's .wavs once all of them have been unlocked and - of course - will lie in suspense until Sunday. Here's hoping an ARG on this scale happens again in the near future - I really had a great time.

Graci, I'm rather fond of it, myself Smile
You could have spelled my name right, tho Sad *grin*

Can we get a thread for people going to each individual city? I'm driving from Dallas to Austin, and could arrange to carry one or two people from the area or along the way.

Hmmm... the more I think about it the more I want to go...

Lets see. It's about seven hours from Yukon, Oklahoma to Austin, Texas. So I'd have to leave at about noon to get there by seven or so...

Then it's over at 11:00 and I have to be back in Oklahoma City for a medical research study the following morning... So, I leave at 11:00 I'd be back by 6:00am...

Dang, that'd be a lot of driving, and no sleep...hmmmm... I am off Friday...

Well, I can't really blame you for wanting to talk to Buzz and I so much, I mean, come on, we are pretty hot...

I'm really going to miss getting to talk to all these incredible people on my phone all the time. Dang that's gonna suck. Well, everyone is welcome to keep my phone number and call me any time a random AI sends them on a strange payphone answering quest, or if you just need directions to a local quickie mart with plenty of Mountain Dew, Coffee, or tea...

Hot??
Well...
Hrmm...
Uhhmm... I'll take your word on it?

Re: Calling... You never know, I just might. Sometime when I can talk longer than passing a cryptic phrase.

hum

Why do they do this to us! If i'd go it would be roughly 5 hour drive... is it worth it? I am extremely interested in the idea of "LIVEware"... I almost am sure this has to be a xbox live battle for halo2. This must be our thank you present! Hmmm do I go? Damn gas being so expensive...

If you can make it to Dallas, you can crash out in my car from Dallas -> Austin and back. That would give you about 6 hours of sleep. I want to go, I'm going to drive, so you are welcome to leave your car at my place and ride w/me.

Dang, that's an incredibly intising option... Let me think on it. I'd have to get off work, but I may just do it.

Let's see, you have to be 17 or over, Halo 2 is rated M. M is defined as 17+. Hmm.

Hah.. no wonder I couldn't get through to angelo. I was dialing at around 17:20 for any updates and didn't get through (phone busy maybe?). It ended up not mattering since I got a regular call. Good job, all involved.

Sorry bout that man. I got what felt like 40 calls in a matter of 10 minutes on my way home, so that's probably how I missed you.

OK - first of all - well done!!! Thank you all who helped angelo and I! Especially you page hunters out there - Many thanx goes out to the unidentified woman (her number showed up as unknown) with multiple text marker relays. Angelo - thanx for coordinating that task force.

Second - I finally (was too busy earlier) got a chance to liten to all 26+ min of the wavs - DANG!!!

Third - Since I do not have an axon around me - unless Melissa accepts my personal cell number finally - SOMEONE PLEASE RECORD SUNDAY!!!!!

God I'm gonna miss all this - gonna miss all the awesome people I worked with too..... The collection of minds in here is amazing!
