EMAIL WES: about LoT ghost, the artist

Dear Abigail:
You know, I have a feeling about you that you just might be the real thing. There is a local legend, a story about that lake, involving a young woman, a local artist who mysteriously vanished a while ago. Some people claim they see her at that lake, because it was one of the places she loved so much. I don't have time to recount the whole story to you now but if I get time I'll try and dig up a written version and send it to you.

> Anyway, I noticed that there is a picture on the Lake of Tears page that has what looks to me like a ghostly image to the right of the bridge. It seems to be floating just above the water. Call me strange, but it looks like a woman with long hair who is clasping her hands under her chin as she walks.

Follow-up email

Here is what I just sent Wes in reply:

Dear Mr. Keeler,

Thank you so very much for your kind and loving reply. Yes, I am the real thing, though as you can probably guess, I have my share of doubters.

I cannot tell you, Mr. Keeler, just how thrilled I am to learn of this legend. You say that others have seen the spirit at the lake? Hmm... I knew it was a young woman, but did not sense much more beyond that and a feeling of needing help. Perhaps she was drawn to me due to the fact that I am also an artist. As in life, spirits are indeed drawn to the familiar.

I understand not having time to type out a legend, but I would so very much like to have whatever information you can give me. As I said to you previously, I love this sort of thing and, though it is embarrassing, would do almost anything to get my hands on info once my interest is drawn to something. I look forward to talking with you in the future.

Love and Light and all that is Good in the World,

Abigail
