the real deal

Here is a link that explains Bank of England law and policy on reproducing bank notes. There is an online form to apply for permission -it doesn't seem that difficult to obtain.

While this is fun, i have never heard of anyone get in trouble for producing the currencys of any country online. Ever. I think they may actually have better things to do, like tracking down real fraudsters than just picking on people who are trying to help others.

now, keep speculatings!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Homestarrunner.com. They had a Strong Bad e-mail that ended with an English paper with bribe money on the last page. Our government forced them to take out the scan of the dollar bill. This does happen.

Yeah, I noticed The Cheat. You have good taste. :)

I read a bunch of random pages from a homestarrunner wiki once. I probably read the dollar thing there.

Or concerned about the stability of its economy. One of the two.

Yeah, I'm not sure that qualifies as something to start the mud-slinging. Let's be friendly Smile

Jay, as someone from Roswell you of all people should have a healthy concern about the ability of your Govt (and any other I hasten to add) to tell the truth about important matters.....

Hey kids; lets not all start bitching about the US gov - save political discussions for somewhere that it's relevant and can actually make a difference. This is just supposed to be a game, remember. More than that, it's an international forum where anyone's welcome regardless of appearance, nationality or anything else; just because you don't like the person in charge of a country doesn't mean you should alienate everyone from that country, OK? Smile

Whoa, hang on. Who is alienating who here? I just see a couple of random comments about the government itself. Also, aren't, I dunno, insults or something required before it's "mud-slinging"?

Seej, I'd suggest reading the context of the posts first, before commenting on "political mudslinging".
