Well, I've emailed every email address provided. All with some unique emails, but do to my supersitions, I won't post what I sent until I get a reply Smile Oh, and I've signed up for the church's newsletter.

All we can do is wait. Getting quite tired atm, but I haven't seen a hidden message yet. Probably something encoded in those webpages somewhere.

Mr. Graziozi,

Several people seem to be interested in this info of late. I am afraid that,
do to legal reasons I am unable to give details on the despicable
individuals whom were responsible for the loss of our precious literature.
Here is the info I can offer.

It has been difficult to compile an accurate listing of what was sold,
obviously the criminals involved weren't any more concerned with accurate
records than they were concerned with stripping this organization of it's
treasured volumes. However, these 13 are the books I know are still being
searched for by that very thoughtful private detective Mr. Gray. Some of the
more common volumes have specific distinguishing identifications that I am
unable to divulge without specific credentials.

Tom Sawyer-Mark Twain (1st edition)
Faust-Johan Wolfgang Goethe (2nd edition)
The Occult Sciences in Atlantis-Lewis Spence (1st edition)
Satan's Bride: An Anthology of The Dark Prince's Mistress (Italian
untranslated)-Pascali Caramio
Zanoni-Edward George Bulwer-Lytton (1st edition)
A collection of short stories by Edward George Bulwer-Lytton
The Race to Discover Neptune-JC Adams
Honoring Darkness In The Time of Dawn-Arthur Edgars
Plutarch's Morals-Moralia Plutarch (2nd edition)

And there are four volumes entitle simply: ICOCASB, CORMFA, LUCIFTIAN, and
LONSHIN. From our records they don't appear to be in english, but that's all
we know about them.

I would suggets contacting Andrew Gray (http://www.grayinvestigation.com),
or the local authorities for any further information.

I'm gonna run some ROTs on the last 4 titles she gave me...otherwise, I guess we'll just have to dissect this thing to hell.

fyi: CORMFA ROT-3 is FRUPID. Just thought I'd point that out.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

One lead to investigate is Enochian linguistics. I hit on that when searching for "Lucifian", which seemed to conflict the idea of ROT or any cypher translation. Lucifer being, well, who he is, as well as most of the other stolen texts being black-magic related, seem also to point to Enochian Calls as it's a form of spellcraft.

However, the translation is a bit different:

COCASB (times)
CORMFA (numbers)
LONSHIN (power, their powers)
LUCIFTIAN (the brightness)

see http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Thebes/5777/enochian.txt for more info.

Three of the four mystery titles are Enochian words, which is allegedly the language of angels. Their definitions are as follows:

Cormfa: Numbers
Luciftian: The Brightness (or Ornaments of Brightness)
Lonshin: Power (or Their Powers)

Icocasb does not appear in any Enochian lexicon, so i'm at a loss there. Maybe it's a name of some kind? I checked the listing of Angels, and it's not the name of an angel.

Seems interesting enough.

Would somebody who actually received the emails please be so kind as to forward them to me?

daniel.sundstromSPLATcity.vrg.se

I would really appreciate it.

Over and out!

I apologize for posting essentially what Alzheimers already posted. I only read part of the spoiler text and must have missed the rest. Sorry about that! Nice work finding Icocasb, considering i couldn't.

Hi there,

I am planning on visiting Tranquil Valley for a short break from work. It sure sounds relaxing.
Could you provide me some more information about the historical background of the area, and maybe some of the local landmarks as well?

Thank you in advance,

Kender

Dear Kender,

Thanks for visiting our Tranquil Valley Website! What drew you to it? I hope you liked it. Anyways, it seems that your interested in our History? Well, I'm sorry, but I can't help you there. This is, of course, why we have the Ardmur Historical Society. Have you tried contacting them? They love helping visitors find interesting sites to see! Tranquil Valley is quite small and set back, so the History isn't all that interesting, though. Well, try contacting the Ardmur Historical Society! Thanks!

No prob Cyfre -- to be honest, the spoiler tag changed positions a couple times as I couldn't decide how to present the info and still avoid spoiling what I had found in case any one else was still looking/trying ROT/etc.

As for Icocasb, I could still be wrong and we could be working from an incomplete source. I thought I could find a common root word and come up with a a meaning (ie, if Xcocasb, Ycocasb, and Zcocasb all existed, it might help define Icocasb). Interestingly, only Cocasb came up, so that seems to be it.

What those words mean and how they relate to the story are still beyond me. I think the important part was the connection between the books and what we found, so we have a better direction of where this might be leading.

BTW: have we decided what state Tranquil Valley is located in? The registrar might be in WA, but I haven't found a TV in the US yet.

I got something in the mail today that was apparently destroyed partially. I go the corner of a very small flier that contained only a stamp, my address, and a message saying it was printed by American Regional Graphics. To the left of that is nothing, but a rip. Did anyone else get this?

Sydney got one that had the text AETEWOSYK RRTNVLIJN EIGNEKFZY on it.

This is what I made of it:

I sent an e-mail about the upcoming book-a-thon. Here is what I recieved:

Quote:
Hi Kevin,

Thanks for asking. The Book-A-Thon starts the 15th, and ends a month later on December 15th. Basically when you donate your gently used books (doesn't that sound funny, my managers idea) they are then donated to the city and school libraries in TV. For every book you donate you get a ticket to a raffle. There are lots of prizes, money, free books, other merchandise from our store. We have a big get together at the end with punch and cupcakes and stuff, all sponsored by the Women's Auxillary, and run the raffle. It's a nice time, a great way to spend time with our neighbors, and it helps get more books into our schools and the city library. I hope you can attend, but you don't have to be at the party to win at the raffle. Hope to see you by the store.

Dear Thomas,

Great to hear that you plan on visiting! We love getting visitors,
especially ones that are coming for our historical background! Anyways,
you
may want to contact the Ardmur Historical Society about your trip. In
my
opinion, I think Megans B&B is one of our historical landmarks! We also
have
a beautiful lake which many swim in, and some even fish and boat! Is
there
anything else I can help you with?

Hello,

I was wondering which towns your History Society encompases? I'm
doing some research and will be visiting your fair city in the near

your town that would help me a lot. I look forward to seeing you.

Thanks,

Mr. Freiherr,

I am sorry, but I am afraid our town has far too much history to give you an
accounting in an email. If you would like to visit the society I would be
happy to assign you a research assistant to locate any information you are
interested in.
