This is me exactly. I bought it for PC because I don't have an xbox and have started playing it a bit. I've played enough multiplayer at friends houses to know that the game mechanics are fun but before ILB I didn't know or care about the storyline. I've actually gotten a bunch of people I work with to buy it too for after hour lan parties and they all are enjoying the game as much as the story-line.

Also, Bungie put a lot of effort into making the ILB game really fun. It made me aware of who they are as a company and obviously that they can produce software and stories equally well. I will definetly pay more attention to any games they produce in the future. It also turned me on to ARG's, though I don't know if I have the TIME to actively play any more for awhile, I will definetly lurk.
