Join the Crew?

Is there now any possible way to join the crew if you can't reach an axon? I've tried the voicemail (full). I've tried submitting an axon (I got one but I can't get it at it's time). I've provided contact info in my e-mails for the various training excercises (no result). So my question is, did I completely miss the boat due to bad luck or is there still some way I can participate without sitting in front of my computer?
Thanks for any help.

By the way, I read the similar post below mine, but again I've done all that and I just tried the voicemail now (still full). And I'm not new. I've been following this since late July.

Tried calling again and it worked.
