I have a feeling Dana is trying to tell us-- or the Princess-- something with her quotes.
Its probably an awful start, but I've tried a few anagrams (these are the more interesting ones):

I find myself = finds my life, find my files (interesting)
to her toes = set to here, those tore (possibly refering to files)
exchange a word = wed axon charge, dehag axon crew (nonsense)(?)
life of socrates = recoils fast foe (a fast foe is on her way)
in bodily pain = I play bind in O (nonsense, or hide in Op)
in bodily pain = a warning in itself?
before the gate= forget bee hate (ok, that would be a HUGE coincidence), also "of three tag bee" which only makes sense with the flea's 3!2!1!


I had escaped: speaks for itself, plus = aphasic deed (others, none jump out)

A burning fever = nothing yet, thinking about the "bug" in there

the last fortress= short flares test (maybe... nah), SHE RESTARTS LOFT!!!

Am I looking too hard?

I think im on the right track...

EDIT: Aphasic deed? It means a deed which leaves you UNABLE TO SPEAK.
